Well Lisa if you are still hanging around and looking for suggestions..... I recall reading that nipple stimulation can set off uterine contractions. (It being the main reason that a nursing pg mom, *might* want to wean, especially if she was at any risk for preterm labor.) But since you are at f/t -- couldn't hurt.... well unless you pulled out a breast pump & set it high..... wouldn;t reccomend that!

I also read that peppermint does. It was in the literature I read on the do's and don't of prenatal massage-- don't let them use peppermint oil!

So have DH massage some peppermint oil in

At least if it works you'll smell really good going into labor!! And if it doesn't, you got a massage! (And you'll still smell good!)

Chinese gender predictor was right for me both times. Girls for me.

Yeah, this is our last one!! If I want a girl now, I will have to adopt (or cut off my husband's private parts if he gets me pregnant again ).

Oh, I like Luca! I think I saw an episode of House Hunters where a lady was looking for a house in Luca, Italy too... very pretty city!
I also am a big fan of all the Alex names!

DH always complained about foot rubs/massages/etc. so we started making bets over stupid things.
Once, he bet me that the dog wouldn't be waiting for us at the door with his tail wagging. I know my little guy better than that so I took his bet and asked what the stakes were. If he won, I woke up and walked the doggie. If I won, I got an hour massage.
I won! And I redeem my massage in 15 minute increments.
I'm up to an hour and a half and I plan to redeem after the super bowl!


That is super crazy about the gender predictor.

Also crazy that everyone around my due date is having girls! At least that leaves me plenty of blue stuff to buy on the shelves if that rings true everywhere else, too...
Or maybe Lucas will come early and grace me with his prescence in May instead?

My most recent u/s moved my date up a week and I believe them because this little 'bonus' was a big surprise and since we were using b/c, I have no idea when I got pregnant.

The Chinese gender predictor was 50/50 on my other four kids, so we'll see if it's right this time.

5 Days past due and counting......


Still here and pregnant! I go for an ultrasound today at 2:30. Hopefully everything will be all right with the baby. I swear, as time goes on, I have fewer and fewer contractions....I think I'm going in the wrong direction.


I'm dying to hear details about baby Tessa! Hope Kellie and baby are doing well...wherever they are!

Thank you! I was dilated 3 cm last Tuesday. Hopefully more by now.

They have me scheduled for induction on Thursday if he doesn't come before then.

No kidding! If our June looks anything like everyone else's June, Lucas will be surrounded for girls throughout school!! Uh oh.

Well, I'm wearing maternity to work now. (I have "logo" wear we're required to wear but their maternity is $45 a pop before shipping! I told my manager no way!) Anyway, the shirt I wore today.. it's quite clear I am pregnant in. Customers kept looking at me funny because I've just been wearing really big shirts before that hid my tummy. It's like they don't know where I came from.
Wham, baby belly!!

I go to the Dr. on Thursday, too, Disney Ron... I think most of the discussion will be about whatever this surgeon tells me Wednesday. I think I might bake him cookies and get on my knees and beg him to get this thing out of me.
Would that be a bit unprofessional?

I belong to the the babycenter.com boards and the last time I looked there were a lot more boys then girls... I'm having a little girl, already have my boy at home. Little boy's are so much fun.

I don't even remember what the Chinese gender thing predicted, I think 1 or 2 said girl but another said boy. I conceived around my birthday in September. So was I 28 or 29?

So the week from heck seems to be finally over.

Starting last Friday I had a sinus infection, bronchitis, really bad m/s here and there, nosebleeds and finally on Saturday, the stomach flu! ack

Oh my gracious!! You poor thing! That is one of the worst parts about being pregnant for me, I get REALLY sick with each pregnancy. I hope you are feeling better now!

DH told me this weekend that for the first time my belly actually looked like a baby was coming. Sweet but I had a baby belly even without a belly. Looks like we are popping lady!

I like the cookie thing, maybe I should try that too...as a bribe for getting my tubes tried after this one. Good luck with the surgeon.

Dh and dd9 were sick this weekend, but we all made it to work and school today thank goodness. I've used all my sick days, and my check will already be cut half a day this month. Next month it will be cut at least one, and every month after that, for dr's appts.

Dh loves my big belly! He is so weird-he can't wait for my belly button to pop out. Ever since I was pregnant with ds11, he thinks pregnant women are the sexiest creatures on earth!
