I'm a newbie and I want to plan a great trip. I'm so confused on the differing adivce I read in all the books. We will be taking our first trip to WDW in Mid-March. It will be myself, DH, & DD's (4 &6). I know this is during spring break and that it might be a busy time at WDW. Do I go to the parks according to which park has early entry or skip that park that day and do a different park?HELP PLEASE !!!!!!!

most book sources say skip early entry and do a different park instead. Early entry I think is fine if you get up early and get going. With your age kids I think the biggest thing is taking a hotel/nap break in the afternoon.

Good luck - have a wonderful trip!

usually we go in the value season but if you go to ee and it gets busy you can change parks...at least you got a jump on the crowds that way. we always go as early as possible, way before they open, ee or not. I think that is important if you want to get stuff done which you will want to do as it is your first time

Here's my two cents: take the previous advice and schedule in a swim/nap with your kids every single day, so matter how much you feel pressured to experience everything. My kids are older and I still do this! Have a great time planning and a magical trip!

My Dh and I always schedula a swim/ nap in the middle of the day. It allows us to stay up late and get up early without exhausting ourselves.

Have fun on your trip.

Do Early Entry days and then if it gets busy (which it will for sure at MK maybe not as bad elsewhere) leave around 11:15ish or so for the hotel, grab some lunch, maybe a swim and a nap (or reverse order)

Then head back out to a park that is not EE for the balance of the afternoon and evening

This is the way we have done it with DS#1 3-4 yrs old during the trips and it works wonders

thanks

I really appreciate all of your thoughts and advice!! My trip isn't for a couple of months, but I'm having so much fun planning! I know my family is going to have a great time.
I really feel like a break in the afternoon would help my daughters rest up for evening activities and be more rested for the next days events.
THANK-YOU,
