Hi all!

I finally joined DISboards after lurking forever. We planned our first family trip for June and are staying at Saratoga Springs. We have 2 boys 9 and 5. Looking forward to lots of advice about planning and things we should definitely see and do.

We did the park hopper tickets, but haven't done the dining plan. They told me I could add dining if I chose to but I am trying to weigh my options.

To give you some advice about the dining plan...
I worked at one of the resort quick service restaurants for a while so I have some experience with this plan.

1. I think to get the most out of the DDP (Disney Dining Plan) is if you are staying at least four days. If this is the case, USE THE DINING PLAN!!! It is a great program and helps you get to a bunch of fun places to eat.

2. If you do end up getting it, make sure to use up every penny. If you use it right, you will end up exceeding the amount of money you spent on it. You get one quick service meal, one full service meal and one snack every day. Quick service meals can be up to $15 each, full service are usually around $25-$30 each and snacks are about $5. This can REALLY add up.
