We are going to FW in April 2006, and I am looking at at wdw website for the hours of the park everyday. If a park has EMH both am and pm, and their open time is listed from 8am to 12 midnite, does that mean they really open at 7 and close at 3am? Can't be, right?

I really need some advice from some Disney Dynamos! :cheer2:

I might be confused, but parks don't do both AM and PM EMH. One park might have AM emh while another has PM EMH.

I believe that the time frame the OP is looking at is Easter week. Disney does indeed list AM and PM EMH for Magic Kingdom some of that week and the regular park hours are 8:00AM until Midnight. Therefore with EMH the Magic Kingdom will indeed be open at 7:00AM and close at 3:00AM the next morning.

You are right Shelly. MK will indeed be open for 20 straight hours for on site quests.

Yep, they do occasionally offer an AM and PM EMH at the same park on the same day during very crowded times. On Dec 30th, MK has both AM and PM EMH's and will be open for 21 hours :earseek: 7am - 4am

Thanks guys. Sorry that I was wrong.

You weren't exactly wrong, you just didn't think about it being a holiday week. Usually one park doesn't have EMH in the morning and it night.

99% of the time, they don't do an AM and PM EMH at the same park.
So you were mostly right. It's just that there are a few rare exceptions.

Here's a recently learned EMH tip for you. Your entire group must wait in the line with you for the wristbands. I found this out after waiting about 20 minutes. Then had to go get the wife and kids and we waited another 15 minutes. I also noticed that fastpasses were closed during EMH evening but maybe that's because the crowds were pretty low that day anyway. Not sure if that's the norm.

It's been our experience that FP can be open, as you say, depending on crowds. We saw this happen once with Dinosaur.
