Learn the Ropes Featuring Exclusive Youth Activity & Hop On Hop Off for Halifax (9:15 - 12:00)
Peggy's Cove/Titanic (12:15 - 4:15)

Saint John
Maple Sugar Shack & Brunch for Saint John (which interestingly enough doesn't start until 1:30 even though it's called Brunch...hmm..., anyway 1:30 - 5:00)

I'm not sure if we'll keep the Peggy's Cove or not, but thought I'd book it as it is on our list of interests and they didn't conflict for times. The only thing is I was also looking forward to just doing some exploring in the afternoon and this would end that idea...We shall see.

Three more hours and I can check us in as well I think....

Glad you got your excursion booked, and I'm glad that I'm not the only one up late booking them. LOL

Yep, I got back up at 3:15. Personally I think I did pretty good without having alarm clocks to wake me. And I got caught by DH at 3:30 on the computer. He wasn't happy with me. I had warned him about the midnight one. I just didn't know about the 3 am til he went to bed. But he will be With our arrival time.

I could have gotten the 11:00. But I passed because our train doesn't get in til 10:50. I went with the 11:30-12:00. I am hoping that will give us enough time with the taxi.

Its going to be a long day at work. If I didn't have progress reports and IEPs due, I would think about staying home.

Now that I have a port arrival time, I have to determine how we are getting form Newark Airport to Port. I keep going back and forth on this one and can't decide. Disney transport? Taxi? Private Transport?

I made our FE over the weekend and I am thrilled with how it turned out for a first attempt. Now I have to figure out how to post the photo of it.

We booked last night with mixed success. We had no problem getting what we wanted for excursions and Palo dinner, but we got locked out of Palo brunch. I was logged in at 12:00 and 1 second, went right to Palo brunch, and before 12:01 it was supposedly fully booked.

I'm not worried about getting brunch because this is the exact same thing that happened to us on the Dream last August, and it was extremely easy to book onboard. They had plenty of availability at that point, and when we actually attended our brunch most of the tables were empty. Disney must really hold back a large percentage of brunch reservations, so for those of you still waiting to book have no fear.

I did not stay up until 3:00 to do online check in, but I did it after waking up this morning around 6:30. I still had no trouble at all getting the first port arrival time, 11:00. Given that the port parking lot opens at 9:00, it will be interesting to see how Disney handles port arrivals in New York. Will we be able to park at 9:00 but not enter the Disney terminal until our port arrival time? Will we be unable to park until our port arrival time? Will we able to enter the terminal and check in as soon as we arrive regardless of our official port arrival time (like Port Canaveral used to be before they started assigning port arrival times)? I guess we'll have to wait until some of the earlier New York cruises start reporting what happens.

If anyone who can't book until 75 days has any questions about available excursion, dining or spa times, feel free to let me know if you want any information!

Then open a reply to this thread. Go back to photobucket and click on the last code that it gives you when you hover over the picture. It will say "copied". Then go back to your reply here and double click and it will paste in the code for the picture. When you post it, you will see the picture!

Help me understand this - how do I see some people booking excursions and doing checkin already? When I pull up my reservation, it says I can't do any of that until April 3rd. Am I missing something?

Your time to book depends on whether you have previously cruised with Disney. Someone who has never before cruised with Disney cannot book until 75 days before the cruise, which in our case should be April 3. Those of us who are Silver members in the Castaway Club (less than 5 previous cruises) can book 90 days out, which is today. Gold and Platinum members can book 105 and 120 days out, respectively.

As you wait for April 3 to arrive, if you want any information about availability or specific times for excursions, feel free to post it on this thread and I or someone else would be happy to look it up for you. We're a helpful group, so ask away with any questions!

So excited to be checked in and have at least one excursion booked!! Didn't check in until just an hour ago and was pleased to have the 11:00 port arrival time still available! Booked Peggy's Cove in Halifax. Still not sure what to book in Saint John - or whether to just try it on our own.

Also keep checking back even before then cuz people do cancel. We have brunch, dinner and tea booked (we are gold members) and we are already thinking we won't do tea (but definately keeping brunch, sorry!). So be sure to check back on line every once in a while and you might catch one!
