I am probably going to New York in August!!!Yay!!!
My question is to people who have been to New York or live in New York.What are some interesting and or fun things to do there?

I'm assuming you are going to NYC. I'd go to Madame Tussauds wax museum. That was a fun time! I also would go to the Macy's store...the HUGE one. The Statue of Liberty, Ellis Island...all the touristy stuff.

well you are in luck becuase i live in the big city and there is so much to do...

1. Statue of liberty
2. Shopping on 5th ave
3. Bloomingdales
4. Braodway Show ( Wicked, Legally Blonde, etc.)
5. Museum of Natural History
6. Central Park
7. Splash Tours ( tour bus that travels the city the turns into a boat )
8. Metropolitan Museum of Art
9. Time Square
10. Rockefeller Center
11. Top of the Rock
12. Empire State Building
13. Baseball game
14. Jekyll & Hyde Club & Mars 2112 ( themed restaurants )
15. Concerts at Madison Square Garden ( Jonas Brothers August 9-11 ) (im goin lol!!)

I highly recommend both of those. Jekyll and Hyde have decent food too.

There's so much to do.
World of Disney is on 5th ave. Check it out! They have WDW merchandise there. Stuff they sell at the parks, make-your-own-potato head stand, even character meets on the 3rd floor.
The Hershey Store is by Times Square. It's HUUUUUUUGE!
Central Park is really fun. The Central Park zoo doesn't have huge animals but there is a lot to see there. Fish, monkeys, red pandas..etc. Not lions, zebras, and giraffes like in Madagascar. Central Park has a lot of painters and people who make charicatures.
My favorite museum is the Museum of Natural History. The Met is cool too, though.

the giant Toys R US store in Times Square, Giant Build-A-Bear on 5th avenue, watch TRL being filmed, i think its Monday and Tuesdays in the morning.

My personal favorite is Canal St. Go get some fake designer bags!! =D
It's also fun going into all the expensive designer stores and pretending you're rich. Me and my friend did that, it's quite amusing.
Maybe you could catch a Broadway show too? That'll be fun.
And you MUST go to the Disney Store, it's amazing. When I was in there, I thought I was in WDW because they actually sell WDW merchandise. It's awesome.

You won't be bored in NY.
Make sure to go to the Hard Rock Cafe.
Maybe see a play.
Spend time in Times Square.
Go to the museums.



Just be a tourist. XD
