new year's questions

will be going to the world over the new year's holiday with dw and two teenage boys. any suggestions for fun things to do and dining recs would be appreciated. thanx in advance

We were there last year and are returning this year. We made PS for CP last night it was seen (12/30) and dinner at Le Cellier. Make sure to hit the hotels for decorations. If you don't already have ps for 12/31..MAKE THEM NOW! We have them at Brown Derby and will stay at MGM for NYE. Last year we did MGM until 5pm them went to Epcot and had 7:30 ps at Japan . The gave out noicemakers and hats around 6pm and it was wild. We will probably reverse it this year and do Epcot in am then MGM until Midnite. If you want to be at MK, plan on going there in the morning and staying all day. If the park hits capacity, you will not be allowed in even if you are a resort guest or have a PS. This happened last year. It is also wall-wall..be prepared! We also had a very nice late brunch on NY day at 1900 PF. Best buffet fro breakfast IMHO..fresh omlettes made to order and fun characters.

Hi! Where did you stay last NYE? We are at the BC and will be having dinner @ Yachtsman Steakhouse on 12/31. Since you were there last year, would you know if it's too crowded around the Boardwalk to watch the NYE fireworks from EPCOT? Do they let people stand on the walkway to EPCOT from YC/BC/BWI??
I am trying to plan the best way of seeing fireworks without entering the parks..

All parks are open til midnight NYE? If so, that's awesome!

MK is open till midnight , Epcot & MGM are open till 1am and AK closes early @6pm
I can't wait to bring in the new year at my favorite place. WDW
