What am I, chopped liver????????????????:lmao:

NO!

:wizard:

Good luck and fingers crossed for you and John, Tigg, tho' I know in the UK these things take t-i-m-e...

Oh, they take time here too...two years is the lawyer's timeline because we have such a good case...

Didn't know you were in a lawsuit, is this over John's fall?

and Yes, it's over John's fall. He's now gotta live with a minor disability for the rest of his life, so our case is worthy~our lawyer also works on contigincy (sp?) (:teacher: meaning he gets paid when we do.)

That's wonderful, Debbie!!! :goodvibes Just as a reminder, my dates are August 10th - 17th Mexican Riviera cruise, 17th to 23rd - Disneyland Hotel... :thumbsup2

Kaz, What time do you get into port on the 17th and what time is your flight on the 23rd.

I'm thinking of taking either Monday or Friday off. What works for everybody?

At this time I'm totally open, but I can't plan it in stone until I find out about the kids camp schedules. Working on them now, but won't be done for another month or so.

I love Cali. Lived there for a short time. The nearest I'll be to Cali this summer will probably be for the roller skating national level contest in Lincoln, Ne. at the end of July beginning of Aug.

Soon, I think it will get better. I'm handing Maverick back this week. The boxes are allready there, I've had 2 onsites and need to have one more tomorrow.

TGIF everybody!

What's everyone doing this weekend?

I'm going upstate to see my nephew star as the Beast in his high school play of Beauty and the Beast. I sort of dread going only because gas prices are so freaking high, it's ridiculous, and I have a 300 mile round-trip to drive. But it's the right thing to do, to give him my support.:thumbsup2

Then Palm Sunday. I can't believe Easter is almost here.

Nan and Kaz, you must be getting excited, since you're cruising soon! Are you ready????

I went to see Casey yesterday, and it upset me a bit. He's mostly in a wheelchair due to the Parkinson's, but that doesn't bother me too much. I'm just sad that his thinking seems to be slowing down. He's always been a positive person, and still is, always grateful for the small things in life, and I'm so so happy that he still is that way. He hasn't become depressed or bitter about his decline, but accepts it and deals with it. OMG when his time comes, not for 100 years I pray, I'm going to need to find a support group to help me get through it. It's not going to be easy, and I get afraid. But I won't go there now, and I'll just be happy that we're still together, even if it's different now.

Kids are fine, Chad's personal situation looks like it's turning back around, and everything will be ok. :goodvibes

Tig, I'm so happy that Bittany and Adrian will be on the cruise. How do they feel about going to the college-age meet on the first night of the cruise? It's not just for kids actually in college, but just a mixer of kids around the same age. Is Adrian the sociable type? I couldn't get a good "feel" of his personality the times I met him. Is he shy with strangers? Does he think playing Bingo is lame? I'm asking that because I remember seeing Chad and the other 20-somethings at Bingo being obnoxious and having a ball. I hope he knows that although Chad is serious about his politics-stuff, Chad still likes to be an idiot (said with love!!!!!!!) and let loose on vacation. Louise, too!

I'm checking everyday for Jetblue to open their December fares, can't wait to get that part overwith.

Good Morning,

Jeff and I are going to Sacramento to see his BF's new baby boy. I haven't seen his BF for over a year because of Jeff's and my issues and his as well. The BF has been going through a long drawn out divorce with a crazy, alcoholic and druggy. He has also had a girl friend for the last 3 years that is 20 years younger then he is. She is very nice and good for him but now he is a daddy again and not yet divorced. I hope that I can find the patients to keep my mouth shut but with everything I have been dealing with and am still dealing with, I would love to spend time with more normal people! I think I'll take the baby and go hide in a corner somewhere. We will also be working on the house this weekend.

Jeff had counseling with his ex yesturday regarding their son and he seemed a little stressed after the session. :rotfl: I'm starting to feel sorry for Aaron, because I know that his mom isn't going to follow through with trying to get full custody and that's what she has been promising him. Aaron no longer wants to live with his dad and he's being a real JERK about it. Last night Jeff called him to say good night and Aaron asked him how counseling went and if going will help him not have to go to his dad's anylonger. Jeff told him NO but he's hoping that it will help them all communicate better. I'm afraid that it is only going to get worse at our house before it gets better. I hope I have the energy to deal with it!

Thanks for letting me vent again. Jeff and I actually had a nice evening. We took a long walk out where we live and found some great areas to walk and to even ride bikes. We need to do more of that!

Nan, I'm flexible so just keep us posted and we can make a decission as we get closer.

Aisling, come out and join us or at least talk to Tigg about coming to CA with her in 2009.

Aisling...whenever that day comes that you need someone by your side to deal, I'll be there for you. I am close enough and I know that situation will be hard enough that I can be there for you~

Adrian is all in to hang out with you guys! I told him about Key West and he didn't hesitate to say yes...He will be the Disney cruising newbie (along with Louise) so Chad can give him (and Brittany since she spent last trip in the Stack and this time cannot) guidance on what 20 somethings can do to have fun while on the ship.

He's VERY sociable, loves to dance and hang out and have fun~

You too Deb...

mine will be spent doing homework, DH, DS and DD are going to a monster convention in Cherry Hill tomorrow to see Bruce Campbell. We were supposed to go to The Franklin Institute but seeing Bruce is huge for them.

Ever watch Army of Darkness?
