Brenda, keep going baby! You are so determined to shed some weight, and I know you're an "I mean business" sort of girl! I understand you have your specific body/weight goals, but I have to honestly say that even if you don't lose another pound, you look beautiful. You're mad sexy, as my boys would say, no kidding. I would love to look like you. But I support you on achieving your goal!:thumbsup2

Jesse's home today with a low-grade fever and headache, nothing serious, but he would have been too uncomfortable to go to school. He's resting comfortably, and I'm hoping this is just a 24 bug he picked up. We've been so lucky this winter, with no flus or sickness of any kind, knock wood.

Grim, if you're out there, what do you think about the new Kingdom Tower DVC?
THANK YOU my friend! You are soooooo sweet! Hope Jesse is feeling better too!!!

Hello Magic Mateys,

Brenda, I have to tell you that the no-see-sweetie method I've pulled on Jesse is working so well! Not only is he getting great grades, more importantly, he's doing his homework on time AND keeping his notes/papers/etc organized! I saw him in his room last night going through his notes and getting rid of old stuff, neatening everything up, and he's even writing more neatly. He asked if he could use a 5-subject spiral with folders for loose papers instead of a loose-leaf binder, and I went out and got him one right away. I wrote a note to all his teachers that this style of organization works better for him, and so I don't think they'll have a problem with it. And if they do, I'll fight it. I complimented him when I saw him re-organizing and studying, telling him how proud of him I am that he's being so responsible, but I didn't go overboard, not making too big a deal, even though in my heart I was very happy. He's feeling better today after a mild fever yesterday, so he went to school.

Today is Confession day for my religion class, so I have to talk to them about examining their consciences to get ready for Easter. The kids love going to confession, as they always feel better afterwards. We have a wonderful group of priests, whom the kids love, and they make confession a joyful experience for the kids.

It's a beautiful, sunny, cool day here in NYC.

I hope it's nice and sunny where you are!
That is SOOOO great! Just got the 3rd qtr grades - Ryan missed the honor roll by just a few points....ugggghhh - Good Luck to Jesse!!!!

How did it go, Brenda??? :goodvibes
Well - after my dr. tells me i'm overweight (YESSSSS - i know that - that's why i've been doing WW all this time!) she also tells me the chances are pretty good - not definite though but it will take anywhere from 2 - 4 wks for the ins. co. to make their determination...keep you all posted!!!

PS - we leave June 16th to Rome....get there on June 16th too - boy i love the time change that direction! :lmao:

OMG I think that's when Chad leaves for Rome, too! Or classes start, I can't remember, but I know June 16th rings a bell!

Aisling, I am happy to hear that your no-see-sweetie method worked for Jesse. Our issues with Aaron have only gotten worse and I'm hoping that counseling will help. My 21 year old is also not wanting to follow our simple rules and was told that he has one more chance and then he will have to find another place to live. I have had enough of the termoil in my life! Jeff is really trying but I think I'm past the point of no return. We'll see!

Kaz, I am so sorry that we won't be meeting on this cruise. I know that we all would have had a blast together. I definitly know that we will be raising a glass (probably quit a few!) to you and Dick. Remember to take care of yourself as you are caring for those around you.

:grouphug:

Debbie, you need a VACATION! You need a CRUISE! I know it feels like the crap never ends. Please tell me you're still cruising in December! I know, I'm selfish, but I'm so hoping to meet you!

Aww Debbie - the stress sounds crazy and I really hope you all find some peace soon...

Thank you, kind lady - I'm sad not to meet you too... :flower3:

That trip is not only in the works, it's pretty much all booked and paid for, Brenda!!! :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo:

This morning I booked a hotel with parking for the night before our flight from London Heathrow to LAX. We've never done that before but, bizarrely, it's cheaper than purchasing parking!!! :confused3 Now we won't be stressed getting to the airport on the morning of our flight... :goodvibes

Staying in the San Pedro Doubletree the night before the cruise and that's all sorted too! Just got to arrange car hire, firm up our DL/LA plans and purchase any park/tour tickets... :cool1:

:woohoo: well that is fabulous - & hoping that we'll get down there to see you - even for just the one day!

I'm hoping there's a California meet next summer...

Our lawyer says our lawsuit is good, we should be able to celebrate with a huge vacation in about two years...I am secretly planning a panama repositioning cruise for DH and me, maybe go on the CA to FL tour :scratchin

I'll be cruising one way or another!!!

I love it that you keep on planning. WTH would we do without our planning obsession! Good idea!:thumbsup2

:goodvibes :wizard: ::MickeyMo

Two years or two months...as long as I have a Disney trip planned, I'll be ok :thumbsup2

Disney is my Therapy. Seriously.

I'll be cruising one way or another!!!

Attagirl!!!

Remember, my Mom's gonna need some company - I have a feeling you two are gonna spend ALOT of time together :thumbsup2

:cool2: :cool2:

I love company.
I'm tickled your lawsuit is going to be good for you.
Adrian & Britt are still going arn't they? If it's rough for them to go I'll try to understand. If you are going thru tough times you can only do what you can.
I see we have also lost custard tart. Sorry to see you go.

I told you already Mom...the kids are definitely going with you...

I also know that Brittany and Adrian will have their own agenda as you will. They'll cruise on their own schedule, they'll even do different excursions according to what you've written already...

Deb seems she'd be a great sidekick to your agenda while Adrian and Brittany will most likely be around all the kids (Chad and Louise, Jesse and Ryan, even Wilson and Molly) during the whole cruise.

...besides, if they didn't go - your price would most likely double because the cabins are "double occupancy." They are both looking forward to the cruise.

Didn't know you were in a lawsuit, is this over John's fall?

Good luck and fingers crossed for you and John, Tigg, tho' I know in the UK these things take t-i-m-e...
