As for some cruise news, it appears that our NYE cruise is sold out! I went to the website to see how much it would cost to add my 14 year old nephew to the ressie, and the NYE cruise dates don't come up anymore, only the Dec. 13th cruise. Wow!
So I called Costco to add him directly to our room, if it didn't cost too much, but they said the DCL office was closed, and I'll have to call back tomorrow.

It's gonna be a full ship!::MinnieMo ::MickeyMo ::MinnieMo ::MickeyMo ::MinnieMo ::MickeyMo ::MinnieMo ::MickeyMo ::MinnieMo ::MickeyMo ::MinnieMo ::MickeyMo ::MinnieMo ::MickeyMo ::MinnieMo ::MickeyMo ::MinnieMo ::MickeyMo ::MinnieMo ::MickeyMo::MinnieMo ::MickeyMo ::MinnieMo ::MickeyMo

I have a feeling some cabins will open up around the 90 day mark...

isn't that when the final payment is due?

I think it's been sold out for a while, Aisling - I know I checked about a month ago and there was nothing for that or the Christmas week... :goodvibes Our August Mexican Riviera cruise is looking pretty full too - a Cat 5 is now not far off the price that we've paid for a Cat 3!!! :scared1:

probably a good idea that i'm not sending any little "love" notes to the new controller  but also my boss just had a mtg with the broker last week & sounds like it's going to get to be a bigger project!!!:woohoo:

Click the link to play the video. That's me last weekend. My hobby since last Father's Day. Listen to the soundtrack for Disney related content.

Still haven't found that pic Aisling - It must be on Dede's computer.

At first I thought you were IN that plane, Grim!!!!!!!!!!!!:lmao: Then I realized it was a remote-control thingy. VERY cool!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I love the Pirates music you put it to. I thoroughly approve of this hobby.:thumbsup2

Grim, any comments about CR-DVC? Interested?

Morning everyone! Hope you are all having a pleasant and peaceful Sunday... :goodvibes :goodvibes :goodvibes

The weathers cold and rainy but I don't care as I've got the kids coming round for Sunday lunch at 1pm so I'm getting ready to roast some veggies and meats - beef and turkey this week... Dick's upstairs on his pilates machine and I've got a Philosophy Hot Cocoa bubble bath waiting for me - it smells delicious so hopefully so will I!!! ;)

I'm excited about it, but not excited enough to do another add-on. We have more points than we can realistically use right now. I got caught up in all the AKV histeria and bought way too many points.

I love the location though - we'll be trying to get in at the 7-month window for sure.

I like your new hobby Grim!

I have a Disney friend here (named Cruisin) who's hubby flies those things! They live in Ontario and go to flying shows all over the US for him to compete in. They were in FL twice in the last month for him to compete ::yes:: His wife went with him cause while he was "flying" she went over and did Disney~

Happy Sunday....kind of a quiet day round here....Ryan had a friend come home with him after yesterday's baseball game who just left....scrapbook event yesterday went well - but nothing going on today....

Rus & Michelle booked their flights yesterday...they are going to MCO on Xmas Day night - arriving the a.m. of the 26th, so they will get the van & get checked in at the hotel; pick up Ryan & I at airport that night & then we're leaving for the port early Sat a.m. the 27th....

Rus is hoping to get us in at the Boardwalk villas for our 'after cruise' trip to the world - their DVC home is Saratogo Springs....

BWV are really popular with DVCers...

have you stayed there? Grim, you and Dede have, haven't you?

Hi gang,

Well, we have another cruiser coming with us, my nephew Cory, who'll be 14 when we cruise. He's a cool kid, who's ecstatic about coming with us. He was hugging me so hard, I thought he was going to crush me when I told him I added him to the ressie.
Here's a pic of him with Chad when he was 11 at WDW. I don't have a more recent pic on my laptop.

I've been playing around with my camera, trying to figure out the settings:
Jesse coming out of his girlfriend's apartment building:

Jesse by the car.

I don't know how to adjust the lighting, but I'll get it.

And this one's for Nan. My grandma's Norwegian (a squarehead:rotfl: ), born in Bergen, Norway, and she always shopped here in this Norge store. She's in heaven now, but I don't think she'd mind that the store merged with the Irish, as she loved Irishmen!

I'm going to go through some things today to sell on Craigslist to make some money for the cruise. I've been pretty sucessful, not making tons of money, but $20 here and $50 there adds up. Wish me luck!

May the luck of the Irish be with ya lass~

Hi all...

Aisling, it looks like you have the night flash setting on the darker shots...they turned out cool ~

Here is my little bit of advice ...

the flash is going off but the lens stays open longer to let in more light (because it's dark out.) Since you do not carry a tripod, try using your elbows to keep your arms still for an extra split second or put the camera on something, like a trash can or the car to keep it steady. The only reason you have blur is cause you moved while the shutter was still open~

I like the style of the archway and building he is coming out of and the pose he gave you in the second one was priceless :)

PS - that is soooo great to take Cory along on the cruise....its great when cousins can get along so well & DO things together....i didn't have too much of that as a child - too much distance between us....but Ryan has never been further than 20 mins or so from his aunts/uncles/cousins - so they are all really close.....the youngest Eric, is 10 yrs younger than ryan & just loves him...it's fun to watch their interaction
