TGIF everybody!
What's everyone doing this weekend?
I'm going upstate to see my nephew star as the Beast in his high school play of Beauty and the Beast. I sort of dread going only because gas prices are so freaking high, it's ridiculous, and I have a 300 mile round-trip to drive. But it's the right thing to do, to give him my support.
Then Palm Sunday. I can't believe Easter is almost here.
Nan and Kaz, you must be getting excited, since you're cruising soon! Are you ready????
I went to see Casey yesterday, and it upset me a bit. He's mostly in a wheelchair due to the Parkinson's, but that doesn't bother me too much. I'm just sad that his thinking seems to be slowing down. He's always been a positive person, and still is, always grateful for the small things in life, and I'm so so happy that he still is that way. He hasn't become depressed or bitter about his decline, but accepts it and deals with it. OMG when his time comes, not for 100 years I pray, I'm going to need to find a support group to help me get through it. It's not going to be easy, and I get afraid. But I won't go there now, and I'll just be happy that we're still together, even if it's different now.
Kids are fine, Chad's personal situation looks like it's turning back around, and everything will be ok.
Tig, I'm so happy that Bittany and Adrian will be on the cruise. How do they feel about going to the college-age meet on the first night of the cruise? It's not just for kids actually in college, but just a mixer of kids around the same age. Is Adrian the sociable type? I couldn't get a good "feel" of his personality the times I met him. Is he shy with strangers? Does he think playing Bingo is lame? I'm asking that because I remember seeing Chad and the other 20-somethings at Bingo being obnoxious and having a ball. I hope he knows that although Chad is serious about his politics-stuff, Chad still likes to be an idiot (said with love!!!!!!!) and let loose on vacation. Louise, too!
I'm checking everyday for Jetblue to open their December fares, can't wait to get that part overwith.
