Happy Monday,
It's another beautiful day in Sausalito and we had the Tour of California bike race go through town. It's amazing how meny riders there were in their tight fitting shorts.
I love tight fitting shorts.
Debbie, we're looking for an apartment for Chad in Rome, Italy, and it isn't easy. Fr. Casey may have some connections, but I wish the university would help. Since Chad's a grad student, he's on his own as far as housing. They only place undergrads. I'm even looking into him renting a room in a priest residency, since I found out a local convent rents out rooms to women summer university students. Something will work out, I feel it in my heart.
Hey Debbie, if you ever want to run away from family, give me a call, we can be Thelma and Louise, but without running the car off the cliff!!!!
Brenda, I forgot to answer that Jesse will be 16 on April 21st. I had a very long and difficult labor, with him having to be delivered by c-section. He was a big baby, almost 9 lbs, and his poor head just couldn't get into proper position to come out, called occipital transverse lie. I have a normal hip bone to hip bone measurement for birthing babies, but my front to back bone measurement is narrow. Chad was a breeze, at almost 7 lbs and a 3 hour natural birth from first pain till delivery. Sorry Grim!!!!!!!!!!!!!
By the way, Grim, can you post the pic of you when Piper was born when you were wearing a shirt that said "Grim" on it??? Pretty please!
Kaz, WTH you're still not feeling well???? You need some Florida sunshine, young lady! Truly I hope you're getting enough rest, because we all know that it's difficult for moms to be under the weather, especially when taking care of hubbies. How are the kids doing?
Tig, how's John?? Is he able to use his arms normally? I really cringed when I saw the pics of his injuries, how painful. The poor guy, but I love your attitude, that you told him you'll
get through it together. That's beautiful, and I mean it sincerely. He's a lucky man.
Robin, I wish I could help with your transportation questions, but I've only just now begun my transport planning. Not sure yet if we're doing the
DCL bus or limo, or rental car. Last cruise, we rented from Budget to get us to Tampa to fly out of there since I got less expensive airfares there, only to find when I showed up at the office that my license had been suspended due to not turning in my old plates! I give Budget recommendations for having prompt shuttles from the port to their office, for having the exact car as promised, and for not charging me the rental. They had every right to have me forfeit that fee, but they were kind and let me out of the contract. I was a nervous wreck, alone with my 2 kids, no car, stuck in POrt Canaveral with a flight to catch in Tampa. The Budget agent calmed me down, advised me to call our airline, tell them what happened, and have them put us on a flight out of MCO. Then Budget called a cab company to pick us up to bring us to MCO to make the flight. So I had a very good experience with Budget Rental company. I'll let you know what we decide on, as I'm going to spent the next few days working on my Microsoft Word Cruise Plans Document!
I'm still waiting for Jetblue to open their December fares. I need to use them because I already have $900 in my Jetblue account from my cancelled Cali trip.
Tig, I heard a rumor that you wear uniforms at your college!
Brenda, how's your eye? What exactly happened to it? I'm so sorry, I thought it wasn't serious, but it seems as it is! What did the doctor say. Please tell me you were only joking on another thread when you said you're legally blind without your contacts!
Tig, I'm going to look at your Chinese New Year photos now.
Nan, don't you love us anymore????????????????????????
EDITED to add that due to the high number of anti-Hillary PMs I've been getting, I'm caving in and removing her campaign banner from my siggie.
