Good morning all,
Kaz, that's scary about Dick's company, but you seem to be positive about it, using your trip to keep you distracted! You know we all want things to work out well.
I haven't been much into Dising lately, which I never thought would ever happen, as the Dis is
my distraction from the cares of everyday life. I've been busy with Jesse, trying to keep him on task with school and homework. He just seems so bored with school, but I'm partly to blame, as I've let him develop bad habits like playing his games before homework, and then he's too tired to get any work done, or so he claims. I was so much stricter with Chad, and I admit I'm a lot easier on Jesse as my baby, and it's backfired on me. He's doesn't take pressure as well as Chad does, becomes easily frustrated, so I tend to give in to him more. But times they are a-changin', and tough love is being called into play. He's such a good kid, never a problem, except for the doggone studies. I'd feel better if he just didn't understand the schoolwork, as it would be an easily solvable problem with a tutor, but it's motivation that's his weakness. Anyway, I've been having him sit at the kitchen table to do his work in the evening as I cook, and it's working. We discuss his lessons, he does his homework, and it gets done in a flash. So mama is relieved that all will be well, all is well.
I'm off to get my hair styled. I just can't get the hang of getting it as nice as the stylist does it, but I'll keep trying! I have to keep telling myself that the big round brush and blow dryer are my friends and not my enemies!
Happy day to you all!
