New Years Availability

Hey everyone

I’ve been looking for availability since beginning of September and can’t seem to find anything at all not even for a single night.

I had the same issue when booking for the first week of October 2021. And then 3 weeks beforehand a lot became available.

you think there’s any hope something could open up or should I start looking at offsite options.

Book off property fully refundable and keep looking. Be sure you have tickets and make park reservations though as park availability may be tough for that week.

I think there is definitely hope. I, too, struggled to find availability for last week and an upcoming trip in December and things started to become available as we got closer to the dates. I would do what PP suggested. If budget allows, consider booking the Swan or Dolphin, as the proximity to EP and DHS can't be beat.

I don’t know if this helps you, but the WDW Dolphin is available on the Marriott site. You should be able to book it with just a card on file and no payment up front. Then you can watch for availability through Disney while holding the Dolphin room. Just FYI the room is rather pricey those nights.
