New Yankee Candle Scents are out!

I received my catalog today in the mail.

The new scents they're promoting are:

Juicy Grapefruit
Raspberry Cream
Sweet Strawberry

Limited Edition scents:

Pear & Vanilla Bean
Apricot & Lily
Sequoia & Musk
Geranium & Chamomile
Lemongrass & Tea

On the back cover they have new Stripe Candles for $12.99 in Fruit Salad, Flower Garden, Just Desserts, Farmstand Fresh, Spice It Up and Ocean Winds.

You know I was tempted to get one of the stripe or layered candles last time. They look really pretty. Have you bought one???

My brothers girlfriend brought me the fruit salad one back from her trip to the YC factory when she went to MA. It smells sooooo good!

On the layered ones, do they smell like all scents at once or do you smell them one at a time?

We have a Yankee Candle store near here, and I saw those 3-layer candles last time I was there. Considered getting one, BUT my favorite scent, "Clean Cotton" was on sale at 25% off so I stocked up on that instead. Bought another large jar candle, with the cute "laundry" topper, several votives, tea lights, a cute chicken "cup and saucer" tea light holder, and probably a couple other things I forgot. Spent $65, gulp!!

They had scented bookmarks on sale for only 50 cents so I got some of those too.

Not sure how the striped candles burn, maybe someone can fill us in!

The Ocean Winds candle sounds nice, it's Clean Cotton/Ocean Water/Storm Watch---and I like all three scents!

Fruit Salad also sounds nice; Cucumber & Cantaloupe/Pineapple Paradise/Honeydew Melon!

The Just Desserts candle is Buttercream/Vanilla Cookie/Hazelnut Coffee.

The layered ones - you smell whatever the layer is that's burning at the time. As the top layer melts away, the next layer burns and you smell that.

Choose the category of seasonal fragrances and you can see all the ones that are out for spring. They also have chocolate chip cookie, calla lily, lemon zest, to name a few more.

I am intrigued with the apricot/lily scent....I have an apricot/almod lotion I bought in the UK shop in Epcot and I love it...it's almost gone boo-hoo...

The raspberry and strawberry are ones that I will look for along with the Just Desserts. I had seen a store here selling Yankee candles, and they costed ten dollars just for the littlest jar
