It means I got bad eggs! :sad2: Low egg count or eggs of poor quality that prevent an embryo from implanting, which explains the chemical pregnancy. Why can't I just be normal???

Hi Beth

Hang in there!! There is a light at the end of the tunnel -- I had the same problem/diagnosis and went through IVF and it worked the first time! Did they do a day 3 of cycle FSH test -- what was the number? If they did not do that test-- tell them you want it -- that will give them and you a better idea of the eggs reserve --- they told me the same numbers -- 5-10% chance of conceiving with my eggs...PM me if you want to "talk" -- I have been there and know exactly what you are going through and what lies ahead!

Well I have been doing the ovulting sticks since last saturday, and I figured I just might not be ovulating this month. On a whim I took a test today and it was positive!! So what would be the best bd days? we baby danced before i took the test today, but should we tomorrow and the day after as well?

Thanks for the info and the welcome.

Going to do my shot now. I've been counting down the entire day and then one phone call makes me forget it!

We'll see how it makes me feel!

thank you!

Can't hurt!

I tried to make sure we bd'd the day before, day of, and day after, just for good measure. I didn't want to miss my chance!

It took us 18 months of trying to get PG last time around and my doctor ended up questioning if we were bd'ing too much! I didn't think that was possible, but he said we might be "depleting" our chances. Has anyone else heard this??
~Just curious if it was just my doctor trying to give me an answer that he didn't really have!~

I have heard that you can BD too much if there is a case where your partner already has a low sperm count, but that if he has a regular sperm count, then there's no problem... Just what I have read, but I'm no specialist.

Just thought I would let you all know that I had Chase on the 28th at 9:15pm. He was 6lbs 14oz and 20 1/2in long.

If you can... 2x on each of the these days. :thumbsup2 We tried it the drs way many times (1x per day or every other day) and we got nothing for years. Last time we just decided to do it as much as possible. ;) And viola... we had a son 9 months later.
Can't say if it was just a fluke or not, but it sure was fun.

Oh Rebecca, congratulations!! He's adorable! Y'all must be just thrilled!!!

Okay, so period was due this morning, but I haven't been feeling well lately so I tested this morning. I used First Response and got a very faint line. Does this mean what I think it means? Is there a chance that it won't take and I should not have tested so early? I'm really confused. :confused3

Even if the line is faint, it is still positive. Go buy a dollar store test and use that one. That one was the first one that I got to come out positive when I found out I was pregnant.

I swear I already posted, but it disappeared. A line is a line is a line. You are pregnant! Congratulations! :cheer2:

Yep, sounds like you are pregnant to me too! Congratulations! :) Btw, I used a line test first with both of my pregnancies and still needed additional reassurance. I love the digitals! There is nothing like seeing the word 'Pregnant' flash on it. So if you have any doubts then I would buy one of those! You should have no doubts after seeing that.

My line at 14dpo was faint with FRER... actually all 5 tests I took on different days were all faint. But I'm definatly very pregnant!

I agree! A line is a line. I am not a fan of First Response at all for that very reason. I was definitely pregnant (HCG levels in the thousands) and all I got was a super faint line  Congratulations!

Thanks everybody! :goodvibes
I did take a dollar store test on Saturday that did not show a line. I guess I just thought the test line would have been darker on the First Response. What test brands do you recommend? Who makes the digital one? I think I'm still in shock. I've read so much about miscarriages and getting older when ttc and I think I've scared myself. How soon do I need to make an appointment with the dr.?

Do you have a history of ectopic pregnancy or multiple miscarriages? If so, insist on being seen soon - they will want to monitor you. If you are concerned, you might ask for a blood test to confirm, and they might do that in a lab appoinment without seeing a doctor. Some doctors' offices don't want to see you until 6-8 weeks, some do - it all depends.
