New Travel Channel feature on Disney

Ahh, I missed it last weekend, then.

But It's on tonight at 11 PM and a couple more times over this weekend. I set it up on TIVO last night.

I was thinking that too. But I don't remember seeing Samantha on EE before.

Anyway, we'll be watching. My kids are so excited. We love Samantha Brown.

I'm thinking she rode EE w/ Joe Rhode (sp), and I think that was in the Christmas special that was new last December. I could be "mis-remembering" however.

TMy 6yr old loves Samantha, he'll even watch her other shows(Passport to South America) So now instead of wanting to stay at GF, he also wants to hit Belize and some other South American countries.

I thought tonight's show with Samantha Brown was much better than the Christmas show.

I do wish it had been strictly WDW.

I was kind of disappointed when her favorite restaurant was in California.

My seven year old DD has been watching samantha brown for years. If you ask her what you want to be when she grows up she will tell you samantha Brown. She has seen every "great Hotels", samantha on "great cruises" and the disney specials....she also loves the passport series as well. If you ask her what her dream trip is, it is to Hotel Monaco in Chicago because she saw that Great Hotels episode and loved it.

The whole thing seemed new to me.

I loved seeing Greg, the curator of AKL, on the Sunset Safari. He was our guide for the Sunrise Safari a couple of months ago. He was great!

I thought it was great. I didn't know they had a safari at the AKL. I will make sure I look into it when I am there in December

I was so thrilled to see AKL as Sam's favorite, I paused the ariel shot and showed my DH where we would be staying in 3 weeks.

We recorded the show last nite - just watched it --

Sam did a great job !

It was nice to see WDW and DL features.

Made you wish you were there.

Can hardly wait for the other shows.

I think it WAS all new. Event the Napa Rose segment, which I at first thought was the same as the Great Hotels: GC one turned out to be new.

I really enjoyed the special...and TIVO'd it so we can "share" it with the kids coming up soon.

I do have to say that I LOVE that she picked AKL as her favorite hotel.
