New to all this and need help!

I am trying to rent points for this * and am SOOOO confused I have no idea how many points I need to "rent", how to add the dining plan, anything! I'm willing to switch resorts during my stay, but still am stuck on the ground with all this! I need to get the ball rolling I really don't care where we stay, just as long as we have somewhere. Any advice is GREATLY appreciated!!!

Frankly I'll be surprised if you can get the dates you are seeking. DVC members can book up to 11 months ahead of time.

1) Based on how many people will be going, you need to decide what size villa you need (studio, one-bedroom, two-bedroom or larger).

2) If you look at the top of the page, it says DVC Point Charts. Click on that. If you know when you want to travel, and what size villa you want, it will show you how many points you need for each DVC resort.

3) My understanding is that if you want the dining plan, the DVC owner you are renting from must be the one to call Member Services to add it to the reservation. You pay for it when you arrive. Remember that if you are staying in a DVC resort on points, you do not qualify for free dining. However, you would be able to pay to get the dining plan without booking a package.

With a family of six, you would need a two bedroom villa. Determine where you would like to stay and post a thread on the Rent/Trade Board with your request. Read the stickies at the top of the thread before you post to make sure you post correctly.

Like Tim said, most members make their reservations 11 months out, so keep that in mind.
