New Ticket Upgrade Policy?

And it was!!! Even DH was losing faith! But, the guest relations CM outside Epcot price bridged to NEW gate price right away!!

Outside the main entrance to Epcot? We are staying at BWV next week so I was planning to try at the one outside IG. But I might just try on our first day MK and go from there trying wherever I go next if it doesn't work. So happy for you that you found a CM to take care of you.

Yes. We tried IG, then inside Epcot, then outside Epcot front entrance where we had success. I totally expected problems but was a bit taken aback by the attitude given by 3 different CMs!

You are right to be taken aback. We expect courteous service. It is not right to treat you any differently. Hope you enjoy your vacation!

Did you get names by any chance? It would be nice to know if it is the same people all the time.
 

There's no need for rude CMs. Sadly, "Have a magical day", no longer has the same meaning.

Outside Epcot's front entrance was where I had luck in October, too. GR inside Epcot was useless, and I had both a CM and manager involved.
 
My parents had no problem upgrading UCT tickets last Sunday to APs. The CM did price bridge. They did it inside MK. I was there with them to help. The only issue was their AP expiration date was showing the date they bought the tickets from UCT (I think? It was some date in Jan). The CM was the person that caught this error and she corrected it right away.
 
I can't understand why Disney can't get all the cm's on the same page. They have to know it's a hot topic from all the questions they have been getting. So send out a alert to ticketing cm's.
 
Unfortunately I did not get their names...wish I had. We also had one of them change the expiration on my AP to the correct date (it was off by 3 months!!) and then this morning MDE showed I had no ticket. I linked the new card she gave me but who knows how that will work!

In a frustrating situation. As I said before I too will hope for the
Best but be prepared for the worst. In any case, I will be in

When I tried to bridge a UCT ticket to an AP at the IG last year, I received quite a bit of attitude also; kept overcharging by $140. The CM said her Manager had been with the company forever and if she said it couldn't be done . . . it couldn't be done, i.e. proper bridging calculation. I just smiled, declined to do the upgrade with them and did it the following day at DHS - with no problems. I thought about going back to the original CM at IG and showing her, but figured that was too confrontational. ;)
