New ticket option??

I was at the disney store the other day and made a comment that I was surprised to see a walt disney world book there. Every other time I have gone they do not have them in stock. Well anyway, the manager and I got talking about my next trip to DW and she mentioned that they will be coming out with a new ticket because people were too confused by Magic your way tickets. She made a point of saying that MYW was not going away but a simpler option would be available. I cannot remember what she called the ticket. It started with an O. Does anyone know what I am talking about or heard something similar?

Disney have re-named the same concept over and over and over. Magic Your Way is just a split-up Park Hopper Plus, which was the Be Our Guest pass, World Hopper, the World Passport..........*sigh*

I would be interested to hear the new name, though frankly the name isn't the problem, is it? Maybe the new option is the 'Oh my goodness, just sell me a TICKET ticket'.

The confusion of ticketing is one reason to keep the AP....not a good one, just one...

I actually find the MYW tickets easier to understand!!!

1) How may days do you want to go to parks?

2) Do you want to park hop? Add the hopper option.

3) Do you want to go to water parks, DisneyQuest or PI? Add the Water Parks and more option.

4) Is there a chance that you won't use all the days of your tickets??? Add the no-expiration option.

A base ticket and 3 possible options - I don't know how you would get any simpler......

PS. I would also take what the CM's at the DisneyStore say with a grain of salt....one told me that after the 50th Celebration, that they were going to tear down Soarin, because it was only coming to WDW for the 50th!!

The new tickets are driving me crazy! There are so many options that it make my head spin. We only wanted to by a 2 or 3 day ticket but it was too expensive. We ended up getting the 10 day premium with no expiration because I could not decide. I hope to get 2-3 trips out of these tickets.

thats what we did too. We gt 10 day, no expire and hope to use them on at least 3 trips. Don't forget to put the ticketholders name in magic marker to avoid confusion at the turnstile.

Adding a new choice and keeping all of the old choices will make things more complicated, not simpler.

Most of the complications occur because people don't set their vacation schedule first.
