New ticket deal: 4-Park Magic Ticket $279

The owner of our travel agency called Disney today and confirmed that you cannot leave and re-enter a park with this ticket. This applies even for the same park. So you cannot, say, go to HS in the morning, take an afternoon break, and then go back for dinner and Fantasmic. There is no re-entry.

Ah but who did they talk to?

I'm going to preemptively ask that nobody ask me how this ticket works, because I asked my management when I was trained on it to verify how the "VISITS" work with regard to re-entry and 'park hopping.' They didn't know yet. (This was over the weekend.)

If the ticketing CMs don't know because their bosses don't know, then who would piphi's TA boss have spoken to? Probably just someone who doesn't know legalese and doesn't know how clunky Disney sometimes words things.

Is this confirmed by anyone regarding the new ticket? Earlier in the thread, I believe someone said you can't enter two different parks on the same day. We're going on a short trip, and I wouldn't mind using two "tickets" on one day in order to park hop on one day. It'd still be cheaper than a three-day ticket, and certainly cheaper than a 3-day park hopper. Maybe I'll try to call Disney over my lunch break to ask.

You won't get an answer you can take to the bank.

I don't actually remember the usage supersnoop is talking about. But I bet no one knew it could be used that way (if DS's memory is better than mine) until they started getting used.

I just called ticketing and the agent I spoke to said you can in fact re-enter the same park on the same day......

Anyone answering the phone isn't onsite and might not even be in FL. If the FL Ticketing people (the one selling you tickets and helping you upgrade) don't know yet the phone center people don't know. Don't take that to the bank. (even though it matches what I bet will happen, I still wouldn't take it as gospel)

Just fyi, someone on another thread called and tried to get their current tickets switched over to these, and they wouldn't do it. CM said no cancelling or transferring. Big bummer as it would save me 200 bucks on our tickets.:(

It disappoints me they put in block out dates because I could actually use that ticket during Spring Break. That would probably have been thing that makes me do Disney World on the two days I have free after Star wars Celebrations.

@JasonMouse has clarified re-entry for the same park/same day is allowed:
A cast member on Facebook has just confirmed that the verbiage on the website is wrong. CM's were given incorrect information and then received a correction on Tuesday.

You can in fact re-enter the park.

All is well in the kingdom.

Source:
"...it is that your can only go to each park once. You can re enter the park that you are in that day. The ticket expires 14 days after the first day of use. We were originally told no same day re entry so they did change that information."

So, has anyone actually verified that you CAN have a discounted room rate and these tickets as well. I've spent hours on hold over the past two days trying to find out this answer, only to be linked to a CM who has no idea, but say "probably not". I was literally on hold for 1 hour 10 minutes tonight because the CM said that she would have to find someone in guest services and it would be a 50 minutes wait and finally I had to get the kids in bed and had to hang up. So, I have the complete package. Disney room/dining/4 day tickets no hopper. It would save me $200 to get this ticket deal as well. The CM said it won't except both, but my point is that is does not say "not to be combined with any other offer." Any advice of who to turn to next?

Call Reservations and remove your tickets from your package. After your tickets are removed, purchase the 4-day tickets via your MDE account.

Have any of you since tried actually using one of these tickets? I called today and the ticket CM said we definitely could NOT re-enter if my daughter needed to nap in the room. Our December trip is blacked out, so we can't use these tickets now anyway, but for our trip in February, we would consider if we can re-enter.

Since ravenclawtrekkie actually sold one of these tickets and read on the screen that reentry is permitted, I would trust that over what someone on the phone said who has probably never actually seen one of these tickets.

I understand, but I was asking about whether someone had used them before, in the event that it may be possible for a CM to not set the ticket up properly. Especially given the confusion that still exists among Disney staff well after it seems that it should have been clarified. If re-entry is set in stone and not up to the skill level of the particular CM, it's not an issue, but I would rather find out if people have had problems regardless of how it *should* work.

The info from the two CMs participating in this thread is correct. Ticket CMs do not have to "set up" the tickets - they sell them and give correct info to the buyers.

The official wording on the Disney site was incorrect and within a day of these tickets going on sale, the correct "re-entry" directions were given out to guests. No one will be reporting problems because there will not be any difficulty in leaving and then re-entering the park.
