Has anyone eaten at the Studio Catering Co. since it has been re-done? The menu looks decent. I'd love if there was some good counter service in MGM....

I wanted to try it this weekend, but FH doesn't want to do three Disney days this weekend...bother. We will be trying it out June 11th at the latest, though.

I have high hopes for it since we've been very happy with both the Tomorrowland Terrace Noodle Station and Sunshine Seasons. I'm also looking forward to trying the new menu at Pinocchio's. We're definitely happy with the healthy turn that Disney's taking with CS. :)

i'm going to try to try it out when we are down there next week. if we do, i'll post about it.

Thanx Caity - Looking forward to your review.

I have not tried it yet. I walked by there on Tuesday. Most of the tables were empty. The lines were very sparce at the counter. The pictures of the food looked very good. We ended up at Pizza Planet.

I am also curious abou this one....some on out there must have tried it already?????

It's the big place outside of the Honey I Shrunk the Kids play are that has been closed for awhile.

I'm almost positive I just read a review that included this place...I just haven't found it again yet.

Lovethattink, where exactly is it in MGM? Thanks!

We went to MGM again Saturday. It's located right next to Honey we shrunk the kids playground. When we arrived here, the tables were all empty. Dh had some trouble locating a high chair. He found one and brought it back to the table. By the time he got back to the table, the place was mobbed. The line for food went all the way back to the end of the seating. The stunt show had just let out and I think everyone came here to eat. This is the closest counter service to the stunt show. So once again we did not try the food. We fed the baby his baby food, then left. As soon as we stood up, people were there to take the table and someone else grabbed the high chair. If we go to MGM this weekend, I promise I will get there at a good time and try something. My only advice is to go when it 1st opens or during the 1 O'clock stunt show. Do not try to go directly after the 1 o'clock stunt show, unless you are one of the 1st out of the show.

We ate there and it was excellent. Were there on 5/14. Very good pita wraps. Greek inspired. Grilled chicken, cucumber, tomatoes and ziki sauce. Big enough to where we did not need any sides( we are not real big eaters). Really good prices. My daughter got a Peanut butter and jelly kids meal served with fresh apples and dipping sauce. It was not on menu but they told us about it. Really enjoyed it. Food tasted really fresh for counter service. Place was dead until motor cars show ended, then pretty busy. Also got a little pixiedust there. The guy who had waited on us came out and said to my 4 year old "princess would you like to come play a game?" She said yes and he picked anothe "princess" to come to the counter and play a very easy trivia game. They both walked away winners with a free dessert. She got an almond and honey pastry stick that we enjoyed, she thought it was a little too sweet. I would highly recommend this as an alternative to burgers, chicken fingers, and fries. We will make it a regular stop on future visits. Seating is outside but covered with lots of fans. It was 89 degrees on the day we were there and did not feel hot while we ate. Glad we tried it.

Soooo good. We ate there this past week and it was delicious. We all got the kids grilled chicken wrap meals. The chicken is great, the sauce it good, the pita bread was great...just really good food. The kids meal came with apples too, which were good and juicy in the heat. Really great rehab on this place!!

This was one of my fave counter service meals of my trip last week! I had the Ground Lamb Kebob with Eggplant Spread and Chili Sauce. The bread was soo fresh, the chili sauce was nice & spicy, and the lamb was better than the lamb I had at Tangeriene Cafe in Morocco. I had the fresh fruit eclair for dessert and it was very refreshing on a hot day at the park.

Another hidden jewel around the corner from the Catering Company counters is a drink stand that sells a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic frozen drinks. The Frozen Fanta Banana was yummy! :flower:
