Somewhere in this great country Star Wars fans are already in line to be the first to purchase these stamps.

I have not seen the R2-D2 mailbox but noticed the pic came from Louisville, KY. Where is it located at in Louisville?

I can't believe it took them this long to think of this. They will make serious cash and this should have been done long ago...

Have these things been limited in the past or do they print them until nobody wants them anymore. I know nothing about stamp collecting.

Actually the pic I posted is that of downtown Chicago, a friend of mine sent it to me last week. The one here in Louisville that we spotted is located on Shelbyville Rd and Hubbards Lane. I don't know if there are any others...we just happened to see it when driving by a couple of days ago.

It is a federal offence to steal a mailbox.

Yeah but that never stopped every last person in the country from committing crimes. Not justifying it, I'm just thinking that it wouldn't come as a surprise to me if one of them were to be "missing."

We HAVE an R2D2 mailbot (get it? ) at our main post office...hee-hee-hee...I see it EVERYDAY! I deposit my YOAND postcard in there!
Some people are complaining that it makes it difficult to know where to mail your letters, that it is unreckognizable as a maillbox.....
We have 3 of the mailboxes in Il, so Chicago, Naperville,,, WHERE'S THE 3RD?
