How quickly after RD is there a line for Soarin? Is is the same as the old Soarin, or more/less time? How long of a wait would there be 15 mins after opening?

What has been your experience this summer?

The wait was only about 20 minutes at 10 a.m. late last month. The new third theater has seemingly made a big difference in standby wait times.

It's a heck of a lot better. We were there for 2 weeks at the end of June, right after it opened. We got to Epcot 15 minutes after RD several times and the line was less than 20 minutes. It still gets to an hour or more midday, but early morning and end of day are very easy to do without a FP+

glad to see this; plan to FP+ FEA and am hoping to go right to Soarin at RD in November. Easywdw lists EPCOT as a recommended park that day.

we are going to hop over to EPCOT at least one evening but figure that getting FP+ for Soarin at that time might be unlikely.

During the past 2 weeks the wait hasn't become long until mid-day. During the first 3 hours it was around 20 to 35 mins. After about noon waits went to 45 to 70 mins

great. reports seem to have been that FP+ for FEA are not early in the day so will head straight to Soarin

Frozen wait times have also been the most manageable during the early morning hours. Don't believe the wait time signs either. Posted wait for example on Wednesday morning was 45 mins actual wait was 25.

Frozen ride and the new theatre at Soarin has changed the queues at EPCOT quite a bit the past 8 months.

Parents with little girls tend to flock to Frozen first and then Soarin
Those without little girls flock to Frozen

Other guests tend to head to Test Track and then Mission Space

My plan of attack personally is to head to Soarin first, and then FP+ Frozen at RD

We will be at Epcot Dec 11. With the way things are looking we are going to FP+ Frozen later in the evening after Candlight Processional (we have the 5pm show). We are planning on doing Soarin at RD then move on to TT and Mission Space. Do you think we will be able to do those 3 in the first 2hrs? Trying to see what time to make our first FP+ of the day. What time do you think would be saft to do first FP+?

I arrived at rope drop on Saturday, and by 9:15 the wait time was only 15 minutes!

I'd flip those around. RD TT and then hit Soarin. TT lines gets longer faster, much faster. If you do it that way, you'll have no problem hitting them in 3 hours, especially if you can use FP+ for at least one of them (Soarin or MS)

The need for a FP for Mission:SPACE in the morning is very low.

Maybe we should do TT at RD and standby MS after that then head to Soarin (standby). We will FP+ Frozen for later in evening at Candlelight Processional. It does sound like the line for Soarin is moving faster.
