The sundae may not be considered a snack, but I wonder if the cones are? That would be great

lsg1 said:One place we always make sure to stop at is the Main Street Ice Cream Parlor for their unbelieveable Waffle Sundaes. When I saw this link, I got so excited, until I went to Debs site to price the sundae. This is what it says:
The "Plaza" Ice Cream Sundae - Hot Fudge, whipped cream and a cherry served in waffle bowl $4.19
It is more than 4.00, so I guess it won't be a snack on the plan.![]()
Oh well

lsg1 said:This is not at the Plaza restaurant. This is at the Main Street Ice Cream Parlor, which is on the corner of main street, right out side of Plaza. It is a separate place with a counter inside.

Seriously, it always amazes me all the little details about WDW that I miss even though we go fairly often.![]()
Today the candy shop on Main Street added most of the treats in their glass case. Smores, etc.. The huge rice crispies squares and chocolate covered strawberries are not included and the wonderful CMs who helped me thought fudge wasn't included either. It sounds as if the changes in that shop just happened today as they had a meeting this am. Boy, they were helpful and friendly CMs.
I noticed even more things at the BC Marketplace today. Individual cereal bowls and some candy bars had the logo posted.
At the Main Street Bakery, almost everything in the bakery case had the logo in the early hours including the French toast loaf that I've seen DISsers rave about.
There are just so many choices now. It really is delightful to come upon these surprises!

Just kidding. I disagree that it's loaded in fat - it's more of a pineapple sorbet or frozen yogurt consistency (and even a McDonald's cone of soft serve only has 4 weight watchers points - if ANYONE was going to sneak fat into food, it would be McD). I think the beauty of it is that it's so refreshing - it's got that great, fresh pineapple taste and it's cold and thirst-quenching. You just don't get pineapple "ice cream" anywhere - and in the middle of August when you're sweltering in the heat, it's a welcome part of my day at MK. I love the floats now, since last time we got the cones and they dripped ALL OVER the ground during Wishes.
We could hardly eat them (in the dark, mind you) because they were just liquid. The floats (pineapple juice and dole whip) are delish. Orange Julius is more of a smoothie - egg whites and orange juice, really is how they started. Dole whip is most definitely a soft serve ice cream/yogurt/sorbet. Now, as far as trans fats go - I'm TERRIFIED of the nutritional information on a Mickey Bar. Have you seen the lable for, say, Magic Shell ice cream coating? Eeek. That stuff is like 60% shortening. But still oh so good
