***** New September 2013 Thread *****

Thanks. I didn't even think about Cooke's of Dublin. I think we'll do that instead. Especially since the youngest DS does not like fish. Well at least he says he doesn't. Then it might be one of those things like he says he hates cheese but then loves cheeseburgers, cheese pizza, and especially red rind cheddar cheese. At Cooke's, he can have more options than at Yorkshire. Plus, we can plan to pay OOP for it, and open up another QS option for our Epcot day.

You probably realize this, but for others reading, I just want to mention that Cooke's is on the QS list.

Yes, thank you. :goodvibes Which makes it the perfect suggestion. We can load our minivan and then either leave it at BC, or drive it to DTD, eat a quick lunch, and then get on the road. We'll be leaving Orlando on Saturday and we have to be back early enough on Sunday, so the DSs get to bed early enough that they aren't dragging too bad when I take them to early morning football practice Monday morning. Then again, it's not like their driving, so they can sleep in the minivan.

We just bought our plane tickets for an anniversary trip for DH and I! Haven't booked a resort yet... but plane tickets are bought! We'll be going 9-27 through 9-30. DD#1 school schedule has a 3 day weekend the weekend after our anniversary (23rd), so it just worked out perfectly!

We took our first family trip last October with my in laws and are currently planning an April 16-23rd vacation for this year with just the 4 of us! As much as I LOVE being at WDW with my girls, I can't help but want to take a "just the two of us" trip without them. I want to be able to enjoy the World Showcase and snack/drink around the world without listening to a 5 year old whine that she's bored or deal with *almost* 2 year old meltdowns!

I think knowing that we're going back is already making me enjoy our upcoming trip even more! I won't have to leave being sad and not knowing when I'll be back!

Anyone know if there's a September 2013 group on Facebook?? I know we've got an April 2013 one and I love sharing the excitement with everyone!:)

Finally booked my trip. September 12 - 18 at AOA. I make ADR in 4 days and I have no idea how my plans are going to go. We are celebrating a birthday with DxDP so we can go to Mickey's BBQ, HDDMR, CRT, Spirit of aloha, BOG, and lots of character meals for my DS

Trying to decide if we want to go to DHS on the night of Villians Bash. I imagine it will be swamped, but they stay open until 1 am...so maybe it won't be really crowded that late???

I am trying to decide as well. If we go, we will go early and come back because we do not have park hoppers and it will be our only HS day. I am hoping it wont be as crowded in the morning and we can get a few things done. decisions. decisions

I was under the impression that the villians mingle would be a special ticket event (like MNSSHP). Although if the park is staying open, that wouldn't make sense. :confused3 Either way, the place WILL be packed. The villians just don't get their due..but that is why Sept is our favorite time to go - get to see them at MNSSHP AND dress-up. Sept rocks at Disney! Shhhh - that's a secret for just us.

You should join. It'll make it easier for you to let us know how awesome the proposal went.

I already joined!

As far as the special event is concerned I'm trying to decide on that as well as the park will be packed but that is also our last day in the park and we will probably be hitting Fantasmic that night anyway. It's going to be a tough call to make when I have a 14 hour drive coming up the next day to get home.

Sweet!!

My plan is to do MNSSHP on Friday. The next morning, we'll start our 19 hour (without stops, traffic, or construction zone) drive home. I foresee a lot of Monsters will be consumes on the drive.

I think it is normally called villain Hollywood bash and that one is a ticketed event in October that stays open until 4:00 am.

There isn't much info out on the 1:00 am Sept one.

My issue is that we are going to Universal this trip and only going 1 day to Disney (plus 1 or 2 days at Disney waterparks).

We plan on doing Mk and hopping to either Ep or Dhs. But with this 1 am thing, I'm thinking about doing all 3!

Booked our Dinners this morning at 7am with no problems!! The res I got were:

We booked our ADRs this morning too. I just called right at 7 AM Eastern (4 AM here) and just had to attempt one through the phone system before I got put right through to a very nice person. It was her first call of the morning. We got everything we wanted, including:

All of them are new for us, since we loved everything we did last year but had more we wanted to try. Just 180 days away!
