We'll be going first week in September for 10 days!!! :-D

September 2013 WDW! :-)

We are going September 15-21. Staying at BC. Can't wait!!!:dance3:

I am so glad the Sept Calendar is out...and although we won't be using EMH because we stay off site, I am happy for everyone onsite to be able to use it still. Plus, it helps us to plan which park we want to visit each day. I was wondering how we would be able to narrow it down without EMH.

Anyone else getting all their ADR's lined up for the 180 day mark? I have been thinking about this a lot lately. I need to sit down with DH and my cousin to make sure everyone is represented in our list.

So far, we have Raglan Rd, Boma, Sci-Fi and I think Via Napoli on our tentative list. Raglan Rd is a for sure, though. Love that place!!

I'm really glad they decided to keep EMH at least through Sept. as well. I'm just 12 days away from ADRs! You can see how my though process are on those in my PRT HERE. :thumbsup2

We have beirgarden, 'Ohanas, crystal palace for breakfast, garden grill, teppan edo, cape may clam bake and yak and yeti in the works. I still have 23 days till I get to make adr's though. We need one more ts...thinking of either liberty tree tavern for dinner or maybe chef mickeys for breakfast. Definitely want to do earl of sandwich one day and be our guest for lunch one day.

Planning is so much fun!!!

I have mine already mapped out. We decided against upgrading to the DlxDDP, so if they offer FD, we will only have the basic. I am thinking it is better to have something quicker for lunch, so we will do QSs.
The TS I hope to get are
9/9 - Mama Melrose's
9/10 - 'Ohana
9/11 - Teppan Edo
9/12 - Cape May Cafe
9/13 - Be Our Guest
The only one on the list we have eaten at is Mama Melrose's and it's the only TS at DHS the DH is interested in eating at. We've done Sci-Fi (he didn't want to do it again) and he has no interest in 50's Prime Time. I want them to all be late, like at least 8 PM or later. The only one I am worried about getting it the BOG. Hopefully, they will have MNSSHP that night, and it may be a hard to get one. Then again, my willingness to eat late might work in our favor.

It looks good to be a MNSSHP night, the park closes at 7. It's also good that you have it later in the week, so that when you do your ADR's you will be doing 180+10 and get the jump on people like me that are off site and have to wait til 180 for that date. You should be good!

Along with TS restaurants, I have been thinking about our CS meals. Even though no ADR is necessary, food is such a big part of our vacations here that when I plan my park days, I can't help but think about where to eat lunch and snacks!

So, I think we will be skipping an ADR at BOG for lunch CS. I know it will take some planning, we need to be ready to get in line and wait for that one. But I think it will be worth it. We will definitely be having lunch at Earl of Sandwich. DH loves their holiday sandwich. Plus, I think I want to eat at Columbia Harbor House again...the shrimp basket is yummy.

Which CS restaurants are you guys looking forward to? Which ones am I missing?

We will also be eating at Earl of Sandwich on our arrival day. Don't have to worry about lunch CS on our first park day as we will be fed as part of the Wild Africa Trek. We will probably get Tortuga Tavern or Pecos Bills on our 2nd park day. In DHS we will probably eat at Pizza Planet as we just love the Toy Story movies and the theme of that CS. In Epcot we will probably eat around the world a little bit and on the last day I have no idea.

Having just returned, I wanted to offer a big :thumbsup2 to your cs for BOG! You get to feel the experience of the castle and the wait isn't really bad. We were in line for 25 mins before arriving at the ordering kiosks. We had to wait longer than that at several of our ADRs. Our food arrived 10 mins after we chose a table. The food was good, but we've had better cs meals, however, the ambiance is very enjoyable. We also enjoy Pinocchio Haus. They serve a great Mediterranean salad and you can look down on the people riding Small World - (literally, :lmao:)
Another never miss for us is ribs at Flametree Bar-b-que at AK. Yummo! We generally share meals there, because the portions are so large.

Just booked a mini-getaway for me and DD for Sept 17-20! Planning to go to MNSSHP on arrival day (we'll get in at noon and take a nap first), then 2 days of park-hopping, then home. Short & sweet!:banana::banana:

For our Animal Kingdom day I am torn. The pictures I see from Flame Tree BBQ, but being Texan, I'm picky about BBQ. I am also thinking of Restaurantosaurus because the Macaroni & Cheese Hot Dog sound very interesting.
On our DHS day, I am thinking Backlot Express. The Southwest Salad with Chicken sounds really good.

On our MK day I am thinking it will be Cosmic Ray's Starlight Cafe. Since we usually eat there at least once every trip, with the exception of our last trip since we were on the DlxDDP. However, we could end up eating at Pecos Bill's because the Taco Salad pictures look really good.

On our Epcot day, I was planning on trying Sunshine Seasons. Then the DH said he really wanted to try the fish & chips in the UK section, so it looks like we'll be doing the Yorkshire County Fish Shop instead.

On our resort day, it really depends on what is open. If Hurricane Hanna's Grill is open while we are there, that is where we'll eat. If it isn't, we'll grab a late breakfast from the Beach Club Marketplace.

The only one that is set in stone is the Fish Shop. The DH doesn't ask for much on our WDW trips, so I figure it won't kill me to give in on this request. Besides, I've been wanting to try them as well.

We live in Texas too, and I got to tell you the Flametree ribs are better than the world famous Salt Lick or any I have had in Austin!
However, if I can change your mind about anything is that your DH has his fish-n-chips from Cookes of Dublin in DTD. They are way better and larger portions than the ones in the UK shop, which tend to be very greasy. Sunshine seasons is always a pick for us, great pastry case!

We booked our trip for September 23-28 and got our Toy Story-themed vacation guide from Disney last week. :) It's our first time taking kids out of school... our two older girls will be in second grade and kindergarten next fall, so I am a little nervous about that, but otherwise we're so excited!

What is the Toy Story guide?

It is a personalized trip brochure that Disney is sending out for packages booked for this year. We got ours a few months ago, and it is cute.

I enjoyed the flame tree ribs last year and am looking forward to having them again. My favorite ribs were at Trail's End at Fort Wilderness though. They were a more traditional flavor and literally fell off the bone. Mmmmm.

I too would like to know how you get one of these? We are booked for sept through AAA. Staying at POFQ with the dining plan park hoppers.

So i had to call and change part of my reservation so while i was on the phone i asked the rep about the brochure. She said not everyone gets one. Its totally random who does. Bummer! :guilty:

Hi, new to all this. We are currently planning on the week of 9/15. Waiting for the prices/specials for Sept. to come out (and our tax return to come in, so we can pay for it).

We are thinking about doing YES for the kids.

Still trying to figure out everything else, and now I have read about the Toy Story thing, really hope that we are a family picked for it, because I have a son who is excessively obsessed with Toy Story.

Thanks. I didn't even think about Cooke's of Dublin. I think we'll do that instead. Especially since the youngest DS does not like fish. Well at least he says he doesn't. Then it might be one of those things like he says he hates cheese but then loves cheeseburgers, cheese pizza, and especially red rind cheddar cheese. At Cooke's, he can have more options than at Yorkshire. Plus, we can plan to pay OOP for it, and open up another QS option for our Epcot day.
