***** New September 2013 Thread *****

I did It on the phone, like talking to a person and it's easier if I have a question or my time isn't available

I'm so slow sometimes. I just realized the Villain Bash is on Friday the 13th.

Wait, what? I just did a search for info on anything going on in DHS on 9/13/13 and can't find anything so pretty please fill me in?!

We are scheduled to arrive that day and my plan was to go to the Studios after we check in. Is this a hard ticket event like MNSSHP? Everything I find on this "Bash" ties it to the TOT 10-miler which isn't slated til October. Help!

Search for disneys limited time magic page. There aren't many details yet. The park hours are until 1:00 am so it's not a separate ticket.

But I'm sure everyone will go and the other parks will be empty that day.

Got it, thanks! Okay, now I have to decide if we want to do this craziness or not. Glad I found out now!

Monday
  • 'Ohana @ 6:35 (Time to eat then get ready for Wishes :goodvibes )

Tuesday
  • Be Our Guest @ 6:30 (Couldn't get California grill, story below)

Wednesday
  • Jiko - The cooking place @ 6:20 (So excited to try this new one)

Thursday
  • Via Napoli @ 6:20

Friday
  • Chefs de France @ 12:30 (Rounds out everything perfectly)

I was told I cannot book California Grill for Tuesday because they do not have a solid re-open date for it yet since it's under renovations. This is a huge bummer for me considering it was probably the #2 most important restaurant of the trip. I KNOW she will love Be Our Guest if we get stuck with that, since Beauty and the Beast is her favorite movie. Plus, this will give us more time in Magic Kingdom that night. I'm going to keep trying for California Grill though. I cannot express how bad I want to eat there.

Hello, everyone! I'm a long time lurker, and this is one of my few first posts. Thought I would join in on this thread-- my husband and I just booked out package yesterday for Sept.8- Sept.16! It will be my husband's first time, and my second time-- although, it might as well be my first time, because last time I was there I was a baby and barely remember anything! Anyways, just wanted to say "hello!" :wave2: and joing in in celebrating the anticipation with all of the rest of the "September-ees"! :beach:

Welcome to the thread! Let us know if you have any questions or concerns!

Bah! So wish we had details about FP+ (I know, I know, me any everyone else on this board!).

I'm having trouble scheduling things and meals before our ADR date rolls around in a couple of weeks because of how our plans will change depending on how FP+ works. For instance, we might not need to hit rope drop to get to some of the more popular attractions, which opens up possibilities for late nights the days prior.

Anyway, I just needed to vent. Anyone feel my pain?

I agree, it does stink no knowing. Then again, I would rather them take their time and work out as many kinks as possible before launch, which is hopefully why we don't have a release date yet.

We are not morning people though, so it doesn't change how we plan our day. We won't leave our resort until 9 or 10 every day, sine we plan on doing only PM EMHs.

We participated in the a trial of FP+ and it worked out pretty well. I loved not having to cross the park early in the day to pick up PeterPan for later. It will really cut down on the crazy race to EE and TSM, if they include them.

When did you go that you got to participate in the trial??

Last Sept (2012). It was offered to quite a few guests that booked ME and packages (or it seemed like that was the criteria) about 4-6 weeks prior to checking in. I was able to choose 4 MK attractions and the times that we wanted to do them for one day only. Then we received special cards in the mail for each person in our party that were loaded with the FP's.

Sept 11 to 19 we'll be there! Staying at POFQ, super excited! Celebrating three birthdays on this trip, and two first timers!

Made my ADRs this a.m. Glad to get that done. Planning done, now just have to wait 5 months and 3 weeks to go! :rotfl:
I was disappointed that you still can't make dining on the website, but was able to link my ADRs to my itinerary on the site.

Boma
SciFi Diner
T Rex
Le Cellier
Hollywood and Vine
Rain Forest Cafe

:cool1: I am so happy! I was able to go online this morning and link my reservation and book all my dining reservations that I have planned so far........including CRT!!!!!!!! My girls (and me) are so excited. This will be the first time eating in CRT. It's also my 11yo dd's favorite princess.
