Only 2 more days til we celebrate our anniversary. Normally I wouldn't care, but that is how I met all me PEEPs!

In honor of us being SGC members maybe we should write everything in lime that day. What do you think?

Good morning! VA, we got a new bed for Christmas, its a double pillow top, and it is fabulous! It is actually a little too tall though, I either have to stretch tall to get in or use a step stool to get in the bed.

Oh update on Katy -- her surgery is a week from Today. My MRI went smoothly just have to wait on results. Em will register for her classes tonight/morning let's hope everything works out on that front.

Oh update on Katy -- her surgery is a week from Today. My MRI went smoothly just have to wait on results. Em will register for her classes tonight/morning let's hope everything works out on that front.

Did you hear how bad the naval base got hit in Norfolk? My brother was stationed there for about 2 years. He was wondering if they had time to get the ships out to sea before it hit. Glad you were ok. Bummer about dh's work amongst other things.

It wasn't Norfolk, but Suffolk that got hit. Which in a weird way is closer to me than it is to Norfolk, in the area that got hit. The pictures are amazing and one little village is just...gone.

Eventhough I have been in tornado areas and had them hit near by, this was and F3 with winds up to 206MPH. A quater mile wide and a 10 mile path. My friend in Suffolk said it looked like some one took a big pair of scissors and cut the trees perfectly in the area it came down and went up. I'll try to find a picture of the path.

And there were 6 in VA., but Suffolks' was the biggest.

Hey all. I got the results back on the MRI, it is showing 3 new herniated discs but none are bad enough to need surgery. They have me still taking Flexeril 3 times each day plus we added Vicodin (in the hopes that it won't make me drowsy like the Percocet does). I am feeling pretty sleepy though. At some point per the PA, the dr will probably want to do an injection, but he is on vacation right now, so they would rather wait until he gets back..

I'm glad you don't need surgery. Hopefully the vicodin will help (although i would think that would make you drowsy) Hang in there!

for Katy. for Em. DD signed up for orientation today. She also applied for housing. Exciting stuff.

Good to hear about no surgery at this time. I hope that they continue to hold. Seeing th epain dhip is in and the meds they have him on... ouch! Which disks are they looking at?
