Now see, on the one hand I am glad to know, but on the other hand
I HATED the epidural I had with Catie, afterwards I said if I had more kids I would rather have labor without the epidural cause the stupid thing hurt so bad to get it and it didn't really work for me(made my outside numb, but I still felt ALL the internal muscle cramping, etc). So its much worse than that, huh?? Eeps! But it is still better than surgery, so I will do it anyway. We have a local back pain center place that the dr sends patients to that does these all day every day.

That's good - so they will be well practiced and not bad at all! I thought more about it and I really think that was the MAIN difference in my experiences. And really, it is amazing what they can do for you!

No, not a hallucination. I finally got around to looking at the new DIS & I thought I'd stop by and see what the cool people were doing.

Hanging in there. She has to be at the hospital at 7:30 am. We're both nervous. I just can[t let her know that I'm nervous. THe hospital that she is going to is gorgeous. I swear the lobby looks like the lobby of a really nice hotel. Each oatient has their own personal nurse in recovery after the surgery. Our doctor has a fantastic reputation. Everything should go well, but being the Mom, I still worry! Thanks for asking.

Major tear in her meniscus. She injured it at track practice 2 weeks ago and she has knee surgery tomorrow morning. Arthoscopic. We're telling her all the world class athletes need this eventually!

Poor Winnie and poor mom..... I know it was tough when Cole had his tonsils out at Xmas....and that surgery only lasts 14 minutes.

Yup! These things are all pretty routine now, but it's never routine when it's your baby!
