Good morning, all! I am completely behind, but
to everyone, as it seems like we all need it! Danielle, how awful, just when they were getting ready for the empty nest! T, that poor child!!! That is terrible!!!
So Mary, did ya have a good time at the Luau?
I have not been on even to lurk since Friday morning! that is WAY too long!!! I went back to the dr on Friday afternoon for my back, he says I have a brand new damaged disc between L5 and S1 this time and it is pushing my spine sideways to the right, which is causing the pain and the weakness in my right leg too. He is sending me for an MRI so they can get a better picture that the xray was giving, and then we will look into a cortizone injection first, if that doesn't work, he wants to discuss surgery!
Other than that, my sis got her new horse on Saturday, so the girls got to spend Sunday afternoon taking turns being led around on him. He is saddle broke, but not rein trained yet, so we are sticking with a lead rope for the little ones at this point. He is a 5 year old Morgan, sorrel with black mane and tail. Very nice guy, only about 15 1/2 hands tall, but really broadbacked, which I guess is a Morgan trait. So that was the good news, unfortunately yesterday, they found out that my bil is being laid off, he works for ConAgra in the IT department, I think with the edi team, and their entire department is being outsourced to India.
So they are letting him and the rest of his group go, last day July 16. He will get severance and all, but still very scary!
