Hi ALL!!!!!!!!

What a crazy day/week! Today I got up at 6am to go to a fund raiser, then straight too take my neice to her ballet pics, then straight to take my 5 yo to a party (Chuck E CHeese no less....:sad2: ), then grocery shopping, shopping for __2__ b-day presents for my sister and her hubby for their b-day party I'm hosting tomorrow night, then dinner, and now....sitting outside (sooo pretty today and will rain tomorrow...) Soon it will be time to put the cubs in the tub and bed.:yay: Wow, can you say "Im gonna VEG tonight?!"

Am WAY behind but heres what I can think of....

Well, it is a rainy Monday here, so guessing youhave the same. At least some of the rushing will slow down as we sink back into the work week.:sad2:

Hope the weekend ended up good!

thanks ...her right hand has been broken 2 or 3 times...the thirds time they casted it as a precaution but never determined an actual break. We have some nifty cast covers etc....

At least your collection is small... he had 4 hip/body casts by the time he was 3 1/2. #5, Dec 17th, 1988 was his first surgery. He was so ready that they sent him home in his 5th body cast 6 days later, on Christmas Eve after telling us it would be closer to the first of the year. Later in 89 he was transferred to a real wierd walking brace with a knee thing so he coul walk sooner. WE did our first (and only) DW trip that year, and right before we left he broke his arm!

He kept the cast collection for about 5 years after that, cause it was his life the first 6 years. I think he has his last one and one hip one left now. Oh and the arm cast that Chip of Chip & Dale signed in FL for him.

OK, I really need pictures of a formal luaua, please! The ones I've seen are pretty casual!:rolleyes1
The boys had to wear jackets and ties and the moms had to wear dresses. The boys could take off their jackets, but had to have their ties on all night long. They allowed them to roll up their sleeves, but usually if they come to school in a long sleeved shirt it has to stay long sleeved. B loosed his top button and his tie because he was so hot, but his tie was still in place just a little loose. The president of the school Fr Mike came over to say hi to all & told him he needed to fix his tie cuz he looked like a bum. The theme of the party was Under The Sea. They had luaua decorations all around & even betta fish on the table--one of which we are now the proud owners of because ds said "I've never had a pet all to myself before" The senior class fathers do all the cooking & wait on us-- 3 course meal-- appetizers and salad, main course, and dessert.

Oh please missy you are worse than I am..
If she isn't she's getting there, I mean really how many people just happen to break their bird finger?!?!?!? :rolleyes1

Sounds like hes had a rough time. Ive heard of his condition but really dont know a lot about it. My kid was severely lactose intolerant. Couldnt even eat foods with milk fat in them. I think it has added to her risk for broken bones. She has a hyperflexivity issue too which means her joints and bones do not have the same ridgid protection most do. All in all though neither do not cause a lot of trouble unless she wants to hit a volleyball, or fall off something :)

:lmao: :lmao: Sounds fun! (although I must admit i've never seen a luau where the men had to wear l/s shirts and ties:rotfl2: )

Hey....Sane and coordinated are NEVER things i have claimed to be:rolleyes1

I am so glad that you got good information! Chip will tell her that PT is the pits, but not to fight it. Cause it is better in the end and you can get it over with faster if you do what they say.

Hope surgery goes well and that she recovers quickly. Adding to my prayer list.

Thanks Kat!

LizzY worked at Healthy kids day for the Y and I was wondering about that poster of your DD. DO we get to see it?

Also, some Mama braggi here ... At our YMCA annual Dinner on Thursday night LizzY is going to get the "Youth Leader of the Year" Award!:cheer2:

Please send prayers for my friend Sue and her family. I got a call about an hour ago that her husband was killed in a boating accident this afternoon. Their son is getting married in June, they just got the house remodeled for their "just the two of us" time of life, and they were making plans for retirement in the next year or two. Life is so tenuous! Even if your husband(or wife, or child, or parent) seems like a PITA today, think of Sue and Scott and give your loved ones an extra hug. :sad1:

  That is just horrible.. Life is just too short. I know the kid Anthony plays hockey with (the one we took to Florida with us this summer and his grandparents are raising him) Well they found his mother dead the other day. I feel so bad for the kid.. He never really got to know his mother. They believe it was a drug overdose but none the less its hard.
