Hi Heather, Kristi, and PD!!! Happy Monday!!!

And to ALL a very, merry good week!!!! (Yes, I _need_ MORE coffee!!!!):) :rotfl:

OK my daughter is running around in circles singing jingle bells wearing a sun dress. Kelly I think she spent too much time with you this summer :rolleyes1

Jacqueline hang in there just remember at least you have her, she is alive, and together you guys can work through all your problems

Danielle I didn't care for your 80's comment especially since its been snowing here (just fluries) for a few days now. I'm not liking it..

Va when ya get done at work you can come teach the preschoolers here about all those germs.. :scared1:

Ok off to go be lazy have a good night everyone!!!

Sorry T. I'd like it to be a little cooler. Not snowing, mind you, but 50's and 60's would be nice.

Did I mention here we have reservations at the DL Hotel? New Year's Day through the 4th, at $209 a night. The cheapie motels are over $100 a night, so I jumped on it. We haven't stayed there since our honeymoon. This time we'll have the kids with us, though. So, not so much romance, but still lots of fun. I'm excited!

Oh that's so cool!:cloud9: Have a blast!!! your kids are old enough that you can send them out alone for a few hours. Tell them thhey can't come back to the room until after a certain time!

It is freezing here. I'll trade you for your warm CA weather!

Good for you! Enjoy some minitues thinking of each of us so we can feel like we were there too!

We don't have snow here, but do have the NNW winds gusting at 20+mph and it being in the low 40's am and low 30's at night for the next day or two. keeps blowing the office door open so it rings & rings as it slowly drifts shut.

I do get to go to Panera tonight though at closing and pick up the left over days bread & sweets they donate to the Y every Tues. evening. And I get to pick mine out first, yummy yummy! I can handle the cold for that long!:cool1:

A funny from Krista... She came home Friday with her report card. As she bounced up the deck/ramp she was telling her daddy that she got "a tiny little F, but her teacher was going to help her with it" He tries to get her to understand it isn't the best thing.

Fast forward to when I get home and she is telling me the same thing. I try to let her know it isn't good cause she didn't learn what she needed to (it was Science). She gets all teary and tells me "mommy, it is just a tiny little F". I try explaining that any "F" isn't good.

Finally she, still teary, saying it is a tiny little F and she'll show me. she pulls out her reprot card and show me the "tiny little F" printed on there and says, "see, its just tiny & little"!

I really had to hold it in not to burst out laughing to her face!!:lmao:

And one more...

Been reading Black Friday ads (bfads.net) and saw the Kmart is going to be open Thankgiving day a will have a Wii for 249.99. If you go to the on-line section, it seems that you can order it now.

Not sure what anyone is looking for, but they do have quite a few stores listed to give you some ideas.

Hi All! When I had Winnie at physical therapy today the therapist noticed it was flurrying. Winnie and I love the snow and the Physical therapist and the Physical therapy assistant are both snowboarders, so we were all very excited. Everyone else in PT today was a senior citizen and they weren't as excited. They were looking at us like we were crazy!:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

 I love flurries. They're so rare here. A couple of years ago,I was at a stop light, and a few flakes landed on my windshield. The guy in the car next to me rolled down his window, and said, "Can that really be snow?" We both were in awe because it has probably snowed a total of 12 times in my life here. And that's just flurries. It's only snowed enough to make a snowball here three times in my lifetime.

I said the same thing, but with a few expletives added when it was snowing and sleeting in October. I really don't mind a white christmas, or snow in Feb., but NOT OCTOBER!!!

Kat i'm still laughing at Krista :lmao: How you kept a straight face is beyond me. I am so bad at that. Just a little F :lmao:

Danielle you are gonna have so much fun and I so want lots of pictures of the hotel. It looks so cool online and i bet in person even better.

Today is the yucky :laundy: day. I have so much piled up if ya don't hear from me send in the good :laundy: for back up :rolleyes1

PD they keep showing the baileys comercial like crazy on soapnet at night. I so have to ask santa for a bottle. I was good this year :rolleyes1

Jacqueline how is Emily doing?

Ok we are going to Pittsburgh is January. Presidents weekend. Who's meeting me there? What is there to do in Pittsburgh? Mike can't go and i'm hoping to pawn off em so it will just be me and the boys..

Ok off to gymnastics. Have a good day Everyone!!! :yay: :yay: :yay:

HI gang! sorry it has been so long to answer you questions regarding Em. Things aren't going so well. The 1st night she sat on the edge of her bed and sobbed. "mom I'm so glad to be home but I don't think I was ready to get discharged" I have gone back to having to sit beside her bed until she falls asleep .. she wakes up crying several times each night and crawls into our bed -- not much room for 3 adults in a queen sized bed! Monday night she turned beet red and started running a fever. last night it reached 103 so off i went to the doctor this morning with her .. either strep or mono he's not sure so she is on HORSE SIZED pills to kill the "gunk" as she calls it. If it's not one thing it's 20 others eh?

The out-patient programme won't start until she is a little more stable since her case worker figures she won't get anything out of the groups yet other than panic attacks leaving me with more time as her primary caretaker, at least with the illness she is sleeping lots(except during the night when i want to)

Thanks for keeping her in your thoughts it helps to know you are all out there :flower3:

   to the duck and the duckling! I think you better start sleeping when Em is sleeping, just like when the kids were babies!
