New ride photos? Pirates? Haunted Mansion? BTMRR?

I had heard about the possibility of new ride photos at the start of this year for Pirates, Haunted Mansion and BTMRR...wondering if any of these are in place now. Any updates?

Not so. There was CM only testing of the system on the HM which several CMs confirmed participating in. Sounds like it was more a feasibility test than testing of the actual production system, but combined with other reports, they would definitely seem to be in the works.

I do love ride photos...and POC and HM are my childhood favorites (well that and Mr. Toad's.... And BTMRR is a favorite for my kids, so they would all be great.

My first choice would be one with a hitchhiking ghost, even if it's a special effect shot like Tink

Thanks for the info. I have heard about this rumor a while back too and I thought for sure that I read that those rides went down a couple of days to put in the camera systems. However, when I mentioned it in another thread, people kept telling me that it really didn't happen. I am glad to hear that there is still possibility that this will happen in the future, I too love ride photos .

I went to Disney in March they got rid of the hitchhiking ghost part. I was very disappointed. They just have a bunch of pictures. I thought that was the best part.

That's the B version of the ghosts, that runs when the animated version is broken.

They do have a Photopass magic shot with the hitchhiking ghosts. I've seen at least 2 sets of 2 variants. They changed the magic when they updated the end scene ghosts on the ride. There is one that will take place by the hearse in the queue, and another that currently takes place against the wall outside of Columbia Harbor House. Unfortunately, they are primarily (exclusively?) done during MNSSHP.

Bummer!! I had heard that POC and Barnstormer were down for a couple days for purposes of adding camera for ride photos too!! So disappointed!!
