Is it just me or after my last 2 week trip to DIS I found that i was bored w/Epct & MGM. We had a really hard time keeping our 14 & 16 yr olds in park. Thay suggested a water ride for The Living seas submerging you at sea level & battleing large sharks., Changing the "Ball" into an indoor coaster similar to Space or RRC. taking you back in time travel with a screen in front of you.. and Maybe at MGM some sort of shrinking machine laser similar to Buzz at the HISTKids play area... We planned a trip back at Thanks, but questioning it now as the parks do get boring after so many lines & so few new attractions. They could at least update the 3-D movies.
Just my input...

I'm sure Disney is always in the planning stages of what new to bring to "the world". I guess they just can't do everything at once. I agree that something should be done to The Living Seas. We have skipped this attraction our last few trips.

The thing that is nice about Disney is that they don't cater to one age group. They try to make things enjoyable for those from 2 years old up to 92 years old. I am sure there are some people who enjoy The Living Seas & other things just the way they are. Not everyone wants the thrill ride, while others would prefer everything to be a thrill ride. My DH gets bored with Spaceship Earth because he has seen it so many times but my 3 DD's love it (ages 13, 10 & 10)

I think there is always room for improvement. I also think that even though there are alot of return guests like ourselves who go once or twice every year, there are probably many more people who only get there 2 or 3X in a lifetime, it that, so to them it is all new no matter what it is.

We go often & always comment on what we think could or should be done - it's actually kind of fun to make our own "park plans" as a family. It's always an interesting conversation & always fun to hear new ideas. My oldest insists that one day she will have Michael Eisner's job & will do fantastic things to WDW. :D

Maybe Disney should have a suggestion box!:p

You make good points. We go every other year and have learned to focus on shows, attractions, and restaurants we have not seen before in order to keep things interesting. But Spaceship Earth is begging for a makeover. We're not thrill ride fans, but many things could use some spicing up. We can't wait to see Mission Space! I think part of the problem may be the corporate sponsors' willingness to invest in upgrades.
