We just returned yesterday from a great stay from the Vistana resort. We have Intervale International timeshare and we got the unit that was written on our confirmation letter. We were in the Lakes section top unit #1866. We had cathedral ceilings and a nice bright skylight. The place was very clean and decorated nicely. We had a view of a lake and the Marriott. We never heard any of our neighbors once. It was a tad noisy at night from all of the traffic on the highway. The noise didn't bother me but my husband is a really light sleeper. I would have barely noticed it if was not pointed out to me. The grounds were pretty and my kids loved the playground. I loved having a washer/dryer in our unit. The kitchen was the perfect size and well equipted with everything we needed. We had a big hot tub in our master bedroom. We loved that. The set up was fabulous and we all had plenty of privacy. The screened in porch was a great place to eat breakfast. The room key would not open the door one afternoon and security and maintenance had to come out to fix it. The card reader needed new batteries. The whole thing took 15 minutes to take care of and they were all apologies. They had a very friendly staff. We had a great stay but we were not at the resort that much and I wished we could have had time for the kids activities and more pool time. I did notice that some areas were a little dated. The area we were in was near the fountains area and that looked really nice like the Lakes section. I would stay there again. We felt very safe and comfortable there. I would give it a high rating.
