Do not pay $95 for a large ssr contract theyre trippin
No I’m not going to. There were double points next year which is why I was ok going to 90 but not going to play silly games when precedent has been set for what is realistic (in my mind at least)!Do not pay $95 for a large ssr contract theyre trippin
I don't think the seller is completely off their nut.Do not pay $95 for a large ssr contract theyre trippin
I hope you find a good deal and your offer looks reasonable to me, but perhaps AKV is trending back up off the recent lows?Resort: AKL
Contract Size: 100 pt
Asking: 115
Rejected Offer: 105
Sellers pays any MFs or Dues- all paid by buyer
Are these sites reporting purchase prices or listing prices?I don't think the seller is completely off their nut.

Fidelity is (usually) pretty reasonably priced, and their average for that resort and contract size in June was a shade above that. Given that it is more-loaded-than-stripped, it is not unreasonable for the seller to hold out for a better offer. Even if those are asking and not selling prices, the Board Sponsor (which I'm 99% sure reports selling prices) is in the same ballpark for June overall.

Yeah the reports reflect the real market and not us deal hunting sleuths here on the DIS. Congrats!!Thanks - I really like the deal I got on BRV now
Seller accepted my first offer on the first contract I targeted, so never got to post to this thread. Not complaining at all
You did well. I'm pushing my luck on a BLT contract. Stripped for 2025 and 2026. Will keep you posted!Resort: BLT
Contract Size: 200
Asking: $138
Rejected Offer: $125
(Buyer pays closing costs and 2025 dues)
Seller came down quite a bit but I wasn't willing to go higher.
I have seen one like that for BLT (maybe the same one). I’ve even toyed with an offer a few times, but just can’t bring myself to do it. Good luck! You did well. I'm pushing my luck on a BLT contract. Stripped for 2025 and 2026. Will keep you posted!

Well I tied my luck on another one and got it accepted first time at $82 for 240 points at SSR so I’m very happy. Now the wait beginsDo not pay $95 for a large ssr contract theyre trippin
SSR is a much better deal! Congrats!I’m reading these posts and feel like I kinda got lucky!

But an SSR came in for 115 pts @100 per point. I offered $89 and they accepted!
Nice! As the seller of a recent 115 pt SSR contract that was listed at $100, we were thrilled at our $94 offer that we accepted.I’m reading these posts and feel like I kinda got lucky!

It’s not that super lowball… there’s a RIV listed for $103 that’s nots totally stripped! So I think $100 is fair for that size contract.Resort: RIV
Contract Size: 175
Asking: $119
Rejected: $100 with seller paying closing
I knew this was a super lowball offer. But, I didn't feel quite as bad when the broker happened to mention it's in line with what they offer to sellers who are desperate to sell. It's more points than I'm really looking for but I figured if I could get a really good deal, I'd go for it. They didn't even counter. I was willing to go up more but based on the response, it still would not have been near what they want anyway.
