No I’m not going to. There were double points next year which is why I was ok going to 90 but not going to play silly games when precedent has been set for what is realistic (in my mind at least)!

Fidelity is (usually) pretty reasonably priced, and their average for that resort and contract size in June was a shade above that. Given that it is more-loaded-than-stripped, it is not unreasonable for the seller to hold out for a better offer. Even if those are asking and not selling prices, the Board Sponsor (which I'm 99% sure reports selling prices) is in the same ballpark for June overall.

As always, the market is a range. The ROFR board tends to be the bottom end of it, for reasons that should be obvious. If I were a non-distressed seller, I would not let the reports here dictate what I thought was reasonable. It is a data point, but only one.

I have seen one like that for BLT (maybe the same one). I’ve even toyed with an offer a few times, but just can’t bring myself to do it. Good luck!

But an SSR came in for 115 pts @100 per point. I offered $89 and they accepted!

Well I tied my luck on another one and got it accepted first time at $82 for 240 points at SSR so I’m very happy. Now the wait begins

But an SSR came in for 115 pts @100 per point. I offered $89 and they accepted!

Nice! As the seller of a recent 115 pt SSR contract that was listed at $100, we were thrilled at our $94 offer that we accepted.

I knew this was a super lowball offer. But, I didn't feel quite as bad when the broker happened to mention it's in line with what they offer to sellers who are desperate to sell. It's more points than I'm really looking for but I figured if I could get a really good deal, I'd go for it. They didn't even counter. I was willing to go up more but based on the response, it still would not have been near what they want anyway.

It’s not that super lowball… there’s a RIV listed for $103 that’s nots totally stripped! So I think $100 is fair for that size contract.
