New Refillable mug designs at POP and AS

This makes me a little sad. I love having mugs from each resort we've stayed at. I honestly grab a different one each night with my dinner and for a second each day remember something about that particular trip to WDW and the fun we had at that certain hotel. (Okay, I am a little too sentimental.) I just think to me these new ones won't be the same (sigh). I was looking forward to collecting another new resort mug on our next visit.

Still use our CBR mug from a couple years back. With our first trip to CSR looming on the horizon, kind of disappointed that Disney is foisting a generic YOAMD mug on us.

I like the new mugs. I am doing a split stay this year and I didn't want to have to buy 2 sets of refillable mugs, one for each resort. I don't use ones from previous trips but if I understand what is being said here, you can use these mugs at all resorts so I could use it for my 9 day trip. I also don't pool hop

We just got back from a short stay at ASSports over Memorial day weekend. I can tell you that I saw last year's mugs being used as well as mugs from 1998 ( with the year on them) and the CMs' did not seem to care. I also saw a huge mug from Blizzard Beach being refilled as well as one from Epcot ( the Spaceship Earth round mug ) so it still seems like "anything goes" at the refill station. I'd say it was about equal as to who had the new, who had the old, and who just purchased drinks ( or had the dining plan with drinks included). ---Kathy

I'm really bummed about this whole "one-mug-fits all" deal. I was really looking forward to staying at POR for the first time and getting a mug to remember it by that had Port Orleans on it!!!

COME ON GUYS. You're going to Walt Disney World, the happiest place on Earth! And you guys are fussing over a refillable mug? Good god.

I for one, love the new mugs. I think they look like a dream... And I like the taller ones anyway.

i myself think the tie dye ones are ugly. i like the other resort mugs. we usually stay at all stars and i have remembered to pack 1 mug for myself.soi will use my old one and buy dh the new not so cute mug.

POR means Port Orleans Riverside.....I"m new too. These abbreviations are crazy, but you'll get the hang of it. I"m starting to. If you have any other questions PM (private message) me.

I really hope we are able to purchase the refillable mugs. I'm going in 2008 and the DDp (disney dining plan) that we have doesnt come with refillable mugs.
