I am wondering if they are doing this to deter people from not using thier DVC points on the weekends? I know it sounds like a crazy thing but when you think of all the DVC rooms they are building, the money adds up that they are loosing. So by making it a policy that all the rates are higher on the weekend, it will prevent the switching from taking place. Just a thought, then again, some resorts do charge higher rates on the weekends. The way Disney is getting, I am really starting to think (I go often living less than 3 hours away), I may be staying off site more than onsite in the future and I really wasn't wanting to it to come to that... but looks like it might
