Hey folks! Looking to make a trip in August... this will be out longest yet at 7 days and 6 nights... we just got back from CSR and the new beds were sooooo comfy! My wife absolutely refuses to sleep in a lesser bed again! With POP having a new refurb, are the beds better now??? I would love to save some money and stay there but if the beds are as bad as they were before... :confused3

I would like to know this too. We are going in July and we LOVE Pop, but we HATE the beds there. Especially because we're both really tall and they're doubles. Now I know the refurb didn't make them Queens, but if they're more comfy, we can deal :) We're debating between POP and CSR too. It's a difference of about $300-$400 so we have to decide if that's worth lesser beds because that's really the only thing holding us back right now.

Exactly! CSR is like a value really... the rooms aren't much bigger... you still have a lot of outside walking... should we spend a lot of money on a BED?!? It sounds really silly when I write it...

I would say CSR has much prettier grounds and a way better pool, but we don't have any kids and don't use pools much, so that's not a big deal. Plus, Pop has a much better food court (in our opinion,) so the beds are it. I don't know that they're worth $350 more. Although, when you're super tired from walking all day, laying on concrete isn't so relaxing :lmao: Hopefully someone can help us!

BTW - My husband is loving that you're convincing me of this because I was leaning toward CSR and he wanted to save money ;)

I had no problem with the beds at Pop last August and I have had back surgery...I slept wonderfully...

I am not sure if there are new beds, however DH and I have stayed at POP 3 times in the last year and a half and I have always found the beds to be comfortable. We have stayed in the 50's, 60's and 70's area. DH can sleep anywhere, but I am pretty picky when it comes to beds and get back aches easily. Whatever you decide, have a great trip! :thumbsup2

Just returned from 8 days @Pop.Beds were just fine, first say @ Pop last 3 stays were @ the Poly. I am now hooked on Pop, priced both 3000.00 dollar more @ Poly.Food court was great, pools were wonderful, staff outstanding, what more could you ask for?

We just got back from Pop last week. We had a refurbished room with brand new pillow top mattresses. Very comfortable. Much better than any value resort we have stayed at. In fact, I feel the beds were much better than the ones we had at POFQ back in December.

Pillowtops? Now you're talking! Are they similar to the ones in CSR?

Same as this post. POFQ beds were awful.
