New pirate makeover experience!

I've read back a few pages and can't find the answer...sorry if it's already been asked!

How far in advance can you book this? Is it 3 months out, or can you book sooner?

If I wanted to do a little makeover with some makeup and something on my head, would I ask for the Empress package, or do they have something on the side for adults?

You can book the experiences out 90 days (+10 for people staying on resort property).

The Empress is designed for women of all ages (far left in my signature), the only thing we do with the head is add a bandana.

Did this for DD9 last Saturday (a week ago). We had a terrific pirate to help us (Nick) and he was so much fun with my little pirate girl. I would recommend this experience for anyone looking to find something fun and new -- especially those who love pirates (or girls who have outgrown princesses).

On top of everything, after leaving the Pirate's League, she was selected to participate in Captain Jack's Pirate Tutorial --I guess Jack realized she was already a bonafide pirate and just needed some training up.

So does anyone one know the offical verdict on using the b-day gift card. I'm pretty sure I read here it's not allowed to be used for the makeover, but I'm pretty sure on the BBB thread, some have used their card there. Has anyone tried yet?

"Technically" the card is not supposed to be used at these makeover expereinces (according to the website), but if you try to use it there's a good chance it'll work. We will ring it up like normal and if the system stops us we obviously can't use it, but no one has tried it yet and we expect to be like the BBB (where you are able to use it).

Brenna RULES!!!!!! My DS8 Ayden was lucky enough to have Brenna as his Pirate on Thursday evening! She was amazing...so amazing that my son was absolutely shy and speechless which is something I have never seen. He absolutely loved it so much. My DS13 and I were involved in the fun, too. We were being nosey and "cheating" by listening in on things and watching some of the secret things going on....don't want to give away anything for those who haven't gone yet. She had us laughing so much and was so great. I can't rave enough about her and the other cast members. She definitely deserved some "Pirate's Booty" for such a wonderful experience.....

We're still recovering from our trip, but I just have to say Brenna and crew were amazing. I was afraid this would end up as one of those "wow we just got WAY too excited and expected way too much" kinda things..but seriously, I think it was the most magical experience we all shared there. Even my little diva who was just along for the ride (they offered her a makeover but she was going to BBB later that day) enjoyed every second and was made to feel special!!! She has now said forget a princess, she's gonna be a PIRATE next time!!! See Brenna, you converted another one! (Or maybe it was Dave Truesilver who sat with her so long and I think she got a bit of a crush on him- I know Emmy aka Constance Bluefish had a blast with David. That guy was hilarious! I am sorry we can't remember the name of the female pirate with the dark curly hair who also spent a long time with Hannah. And Lizzie, aka Molly Redburn, who wanted the experience the most- is STILL talking about it and what a cool pirate you are. Thanks so much for wearing the shirt she gave you and liking the picture, you totally made her YEAR!!! She said to tell you hello and "THANK YOU!")

I'm pretty sure that a few pages back Brenna told someone that they wouldn't charge them if one of their kids was too afraid to do the makeover.

It will get very pricey to do the full package with all of them, but if it seems that most of the children are getting the full package we don't want them to feel left out!!!

I just made a ressie for my boys for 10/25 (MNSSHP) for 5:10pm. I got through right away, and had a wonderful CM on the phone. I think I'm going to be more excited than my boys!

It seemed to us that most children either got the full package OR arrived with their own pirate outfit on (either a costume or something pirate themed.) But I can assure you the experience is wonderful and the pirates are involved with the child either way, it's more how you think your child will react if they look around and see the other kids in costumes.
