New PIN for jan and feb released!

I say: FIELDTRIP !!! Imagine going and getting paid for it too!!! Hey I drive HC van f r disable students if you need a driver give me yell!!!!:woohoo:

Yeah, did I mention I teach high schoolers? Freshmen through Seniors....in Maine. That would be quite the drive. Disney would have to pay me to bring my students on that kind of a field trip. A smaller group of selected students might be okay but I wouldn't trust my current group of kiddos ANYWHERE.

So for now, I'll just keep my fingers crossed for a pin code in 2009

Well I called again today, I had them check our old address since we have moved to see if there were any pin#'s. NOTHING!!! :guilty:
But the lady I talked to I actually felt like she helped me! She seemed like she was really looking, and she even double checked my address and email address. So I will keep my fingers crossed!!
I wonder if they can see how many times I call?!! :rotfl2:
I will be sure to keep everyone updated.

I received the code and called to price it out yesterday. It was actually a little higher than the AAA rate I have. No big deal that's for sure. For those of you that are disappointed that you did not get a code AAA is only $50 a month and well worth it.

Lilstint- I just had to comment on your pic. It is just to cute!!!!! ;)

The canadian info is on dis discount page. Checked Mousravers and Dis for USA offer for Jan and didn't see it. Can you post the link or where you found the info?
Thanks

Sorry I read in on this website discount page as well:

I just checked the disney website and nothing is mentioned there yet. I did notice that you have to book by 10/20- that is tomorrow, not alot of time!!

Looks like the code fairy overlooked me. :( I just cleaned out my spam folder and my inbox... nadda!

It was sent out to selected guests via email or postcard and is pin-specific for the person using it. Just call CRO and ask them to check and see if there is a code attached to your name. Like I posted earlier, I had one and to date have never received any emails from Disney. I think it must have something to do with the SPAM filters that Comcast uses because others have complained of the same problem.

if this becomes a public code (which it looks like it will) - what will i do if my travel dates are 1/18-1/27? will i have to book two separate reservations for the discount? will i have to pay for park hoppers three days? very confused! :confused3

No PIN via email and not seeing a public US code. My guess is that the US code will follow shortly and not be any different than the Canadian one. Is that a good guess???? :confused3

Free upgrade to Park Hoppers is nice for us but the water parks in January -- not sure I care too much about that. I have a AAA rate for 2 rooms at Pop for 7 nights -- am I right in thinking that I would have to pay rack rate to get the "free" ticket upgrade? For the 6 of us the Hoppers alone add on about $270 but not sure I'm willing to pay extra for the water parks. I'm also thinking the rack rate will eat away a good bit of my savings. :confused3

What do you all think?

I too have the same issue.

I have a AAA rate for a room only ressie at FW Cabins for the end of January.

When I called WDW to check for a code (didn't have one :sad1: ) I asked how I could get the ticket discount (if it came out as a public code later). The CM said I would have to book a package with a AAA agent to keep the AAA room discount, and that sometimes AAA can apply a code and sometimes they can't.

So, in other words, it's worth talking to a AAA TA to find out if they can apply any WDW codes to their packages.

Anyone else have any experience with this?

Anyone know what the price for children is with the Canadian code? For instance, if this is the code we get, I would pay $385 for myself, my husband, my 12yo, but what would it be for my 6yo and 9yo?

Anyone got a guess?

:) Thanks!!!

to me on Wednesday. :cool1: I priced our package and then called and had them apply the pin. Its was $300 less!! YEAH!! :dance3: This was perfect timing b/c it included the dates that we were planning to go anyway!!

The PIN code and Canadian Code...and probably later the US code....not only give you a free upgrade on the ticket, but also give you a room discount.

For a Value Room during Value Season (January and the first half of February), the room rate ends up being very close to AAA rate....plus you get the free upgrade of the hoppers and the water parks and more. I'm not sure what the discount would be on any other level of room. You may be able to see some reservation examples by visiting the DIS Canadian Board.

Also...the water parks and more not only includes the water parks, but also includes Disney Quest which is normally around $30 to $40 per person. If you have never checked out Disney Quest, this may be the time to do it since the ticket is basically free. My 7 year old DS loved it....especially the multi-person Pirates of the Caribbean simulator.

The Canadian code has a disclaimer stating that a Canadian address is required for booking prior to 11/1/07. I'm thinking that on or after 11/1/07, it will open up to everyone. In the past....it has opened to Disney Visa holders a few days earlier than the general public.

Speed :teleport:

Just FYI, I booked using a pin, and 4 nights, 5 days at WL std room with PH's for our family of 4 (dd11, ds12) would have been $2124.68, and with base tickets, it would have been $1933 per WDW website. I paid $1766.62, so it seems to me that I must have gotten a slight room reduction, too. The package also includes the mini golf voucher, the sea raycer voucher, and the planet hollywood $15 off. Just thought those numbers might help those trying to see if AAA would be a better discount.

Mine is from Disney Destinations, and the subject line says "Save on a vacation this winter, Taylor family!"

Hope that helps! Good luck!

Uh-oh! Awwwwww, man. I deleted mine. It had my Ex's name on it. exactly like that. Snot! Anyone know if they will let me still use it even though its for my "ex" family?

Never mind I found it! We can't use it anyway b/c we have AP's now. i do wish disney would seperate him off my customer file. it's annoying and gets embarrassing when checking in w/ the new BF to have the rep ask me if this is the ex w/ me.

Pirate girl,
I'm sure people have said they are getting a discount on room only reservations as well. It would be worth calling and asking.:thumbsup2

My parents were able to get the discount off their room-only room. Now, their room was linked to my package reservation- but I'd think they wouldn't give it to them if it weren't available to room only too.

It was worth a shot, I just called nothing that ould help me out. But I asked about Jan AP rates and they said should be within next week. I work in a call center and know how often you get unreliable info when calling one rep to the next but here's hoping she was correct!
