My DW gets on my for spending too much time in front of the computer. Maybe that is the best argument against shooting RAW that I have ever contemplated.

Truthfully, I absolutely LOVE running this contest. I don't want to stop doing it anytime soon. I hope that everyone will continue to enjoy it also and continue entering their photos for everyone to see and enjoy!!

No matter what the rules are/were/will be, this is what I liked reading best. You do a GREAT job each and every week (and thats really not doing you justice). We are lucky to have you here on the board and I'm happy to read you do plan to keep this going.

I'm still not satisfied. Here are a few more things I want:

1) Switch from having everyone vote to having a small panel of judges. It's just too darned hard to bribe everyone when there are so many voters.

2) Ban the really good photographers. I'm tired of having to compete against them.

3) Points should be awarded based on the cost of the posters equipment. I'm tired of having my gazillion dollar setup humiliated by cheap point & shoots.

4) Big cash prizes!

And no pictures of kids. Pictures of kids always win and I don't have any so I am at a disadvantage!
Maybe no pictures taken with lenses I can't afford either, and no stable tripods to outdo my wobbly one.
And on and on...

Would it make sense to require disclosure? You could require that everyone post a list of everything they did in processing the photo. That would allow voters to factor that into their determination. It would also be educational. On the downside, it would be one more thing for you to have to copy for each photo.
