New Park Tickets Announced for 2005 - "Magic Your Way"

I wanted to run this by you guys.

If you buy a 10 day base ticket, can you use 2 of those use days on the same day?

ex. MK in the morning with one day, Epcot in the evening with a whole other day. then 8 days left

I ask because this would solve some problems of a price increase in the 5 day hoppers who dont want to buy the 10 day hopper and therefore prebuy your tickets for your next trip.(which I still cant understand, $366 for what amounts to 2 5 day hoppers, but whatever)

A 10 day base ticket: $223 with tax
5 day hopper: about $245

so I know its not true hopping, but you could do 2 parks a day for the 5 days.
I know i know, at this price they expire, but no doubt some people could clearly benfit from this no?

I do not understand why you keep saying "we dont want or need plusses" like its a bad thing. These options allow you to not choose them.

I understand......there's a dead horse somewhere!!! I am only pointing it out to emphasize how the new ticket structure doesn't work for us. It seems to be great for others, and I'm not holding that against anyone.

Based on what I read, this will NOT be possible. You MUST buy the hopper option to use the ticket at more than one park in the same day.

I am not sure if this will fly as this will go into their whole "not allowing the same ticket to be scanned on the same day". This would open a whole can of scammers.

With pluses you're allowed to use two or more in one day, but I believe the fine print says actual tickets can only be used once per day (same person as well on each of the days)

Also, wouldn't this just defeat the entire option of being able to Park Hop with the low upgraded price? They wouldn't have to offer this upgrade if people were just allowed to to that. Financially it would work better for Disney to do as you suggest because that would force people to buy entire 4,5,6,or7 day passes over and over again instead of a one time flat fee of $35.

Nope, no discount on MYW tix, just the awesome AP discount.

From my figuring, our breakeven is around 6 days, and lower if we're planning more than one WDW trip in a 12 month period. So it looks like my family members are all gonna be AP holders for most of the next few years.
