Here's what I've read so far:
FSF dates are June 17 to Sept 7.
The package is available all dates EXCEPT July 4th and July 15. (Could this mean another Villain's party on the 15th?)
Anna and Elsa's Royal Welcome begins at 10:30am (last year it began at 11am.
Check in for the Premium Package is 9:30am by Min and Bill's Dockside Diner. After 11:30, you can check in at GS.
The dessert party begins at 8:15pm June 17 to August 20th.
The dessert party begins at 7:45pm August 21 to Sept 7th.
The Premium Package include:
-reserved parade viewing, non-alcoholic beverages and snack
-you may choose 1 For the First Time in Forever a Frozen Sing-along showtime. (It's first come first serve and there are limited seats for each show.)
-reserved viewing for the fireworks, including a desserts and beverages both alcoholic and non-alcoholic.
Last year, the rule of thumb for fireworks time was 15 minutes prior to park close the fireworks began.
lovethatthink - thanks for the update.
Question - my party of 10 (which includes 4 girls ages 9 & 6 who all love Frozen have booked the Fantasmic Dinner package for a Saturday night during our July trip. It is my understanding that the dinner package gives your access to the first Fantasmic show of the night. Will we have time to see Fantasmic and then enjoy the dance party & fireworks from the reserved viewing area??
If there are two F!, it's definitely easier to see the fireworks then go to F! There were mixed reviews from people last year about firework viewing after the 1st F! You cannot see the fireworks from Sunset Ave. So you need to get to Hollywood BLVD or the Echo Lake area to see them. By the time you get out of F!, Hollywood BLVD will be filled with guests.
I just booked too....Did the parade start at 11 last year?
Yes, last year it started at 11, this year 10:30.
Do we know what time the dessert party will start? What about the time for the fireworks? I hope we get a little lanyard thing like last year. I still have ours!
Yes, 8:15pm June 17 to Aug 20 and 7:45pm Aug 21 to Sept 7th.
What does this mean? Is this a meet and greet?
- See Anna and Elsa in the reserved viewing for Frozen Royal Welcome, complete with regal refreshments—water, a selection of soft drinks, and ice cream
It means you will see them with your eyes. No M&G.
YAY all booked. Were there alcoholic drinks available for the dessert party last year and if so were they the ones from the stands or something different?
Yes, there were at the dessert party. In my siggie, there is a link to my TR that includes two different days of doing the package. It's called Yes, I want to build a snow man.
What about for JTA signup during FSF? Any advantage of having the ADR for it, or even a disadvantage of having it? Trying to find a way to be up near front of pack and not have my kids sitting at turnstiles for an hour if possible. (Hopping out of park to AK for rest of morning afterwards).
Assuming they have the morning welcome show and rope drop, you would need to have a breakfast time that would get you to the rope before the general public gained access. Even so, it was a mass exodus from the rope to JTA. Same can be said of TSMM at rope drop.
I am looking for advice on the Summer Frozen Fun Package. We didn't go to WDW last summer so this will be our first exposure. We already have ADRs for Fantasmic on the Sunday of our trip. Does it make any sense to do both the Fantasmic dining package(our lunch reservation is at 12noon) and the Summer Frozen Fun Package on the same day? Can you attend the first showing of Fantasmic and then make it over to the Dessert Party on time prior to the fireworks?
Our only other option is to go back to Hollywood Studios the next day after going to Animal Kingdom in the morning (a half day park for us). But, then we miss the Frozen parade in the morning, right?
Please help!
Personally, I would not do both packages in one day. Maybe someone can chime in who did both? Depending on your dates, the firework dessert party starts either at 8:15 or 7:45 depending on the date.
Where are the best spots to watch the Frozen Fireworks if you don't purchase the premium package?
The best spot to see the fireworks is outside the park by the Mickey Topiary where the Christmas tree would be located if it were the holidays, however, no sound is piped in.
I like viewing it around Echo Lake.
The show is designed for best viewing on Hollywood BLVD.
Any word on what time the fireworks will start at HS?
Last year the rule of thumb was 15 minutes before park closing time.
