New "Official" Frozen: 2015 Frozen Summer Fun June 17 to Sept 7!

Is there a dance party or entertainment before the Fireworks? I'm familiar with FtF for SWW and wondering if this dessert party is similar. Our trip spans both events.

lovethattink,

Do you think the Frozen Premium Package is worth it?

Thanks!

We did it several times last year. It's very nice, but not necessary as the parade goes the whole route, unlike SWW where it stops at the event stage. Frozen treats and snacks are available for purchase at various places. The fireworks can be seen from great from many locations. The only draw back is the crowds and waits without the package. As of right now, there are no FP opportunities for the singalong available from June 1 to 15. I don't know if that will contintue to be the trend or if that is something just temporary until the sing-along opens at its new location. I'm assuming it's temporary, however, someone did mention to me that maybe something new is going to be tried?

At this point, there is only mention of a DJ. So yes to the dance party. No word yet on any live band. But @tinkerhon and I have our fingers and toes crossed!

Somebody should ask on the DPB the location for the parade and fireworks viewing and see if we get any more info...hint,hint,wink,wink ;)

lovethatthink - thanks for the update.

Question - my party of 10 (which includes 4 girls ages 9 & 6 who all love Frozen have booked the Fantasmic Dinner package for a Saturday night during our July trip. It is my understanding that the dinner package gives your access to the first Fantasmic show of the night. Will we have time to see Fantasmic and then enjoy the dance party & fireworks from the reserved viewing area??

Thank you so much for the update.....and everything!!

Just booked the premium package. My family loved it last summer. This year, I'm planning an entire day just for Frozen Summer Fun.

I just booked too....Did the parade start at 11 last year?

Do we know what time the dessert party will start? What about the time for the fireworks? I hope we get a little lanyard thing like last year. I still have ours!

What does this mean? Is this a meet and greet?

  • See Anna and Elsa in the reserved viewing for Frozen Royal Welcome, complete with regal refreshments—water, a selection of soft drinks, and ice cream

YAY all booked. Were there alcoholic drinks available for the dessert party last year and if so were they the ones from the stands or something different?

There were definitely alcoholic drinks at the dessert party - all included. I can't remember what the drinks were called but I'm pretty sure that they were different from the drinks found at the stands. They were all "Frozen" themed and quite delicious!

Not a meet and greet, it means you will see them in the Royal Welcome processional.

No real advantage. Ropes are up until the opening show ends and the park is opened. They even did opening shows twice during EMH.

What about for JTA signup during FSF? Any advantage of having the ADR for it, or even a disadvantage of having it? Trying to find a way to be up near front of pack and not have my kids sitting at turnstiles for an hour if possible. (Hopping out of park to AK for rest of morning afterwards).

I am looking for advice on the Summer Frozen Fun Package. We didn't go to WDW last summer so this will be our first exposure. We already have ADRs for Fantasmic on the Sunday of our trip. Does it make any sense to do both the Fantasmic dining package(our lunch reservation is at 12noon) and the Summer Frozen Fun Package on the same day? Can you attend the first showing of Fantasmic and then make it over to the Dessert Party on time prior to the fireworks?

Our only other option is to go back to Hollywood Studios the next day after going to Animal Kingdom in the morning (a half day park for us). But, then we miss the Frozen parade in the morning, right?

Please help!

Where are the best spots to watch the Frozen Fireworks if you don't purchase the premium package?
