I'm planning on taking advantage of some EMH. We are adults, so can get up early for rope drop. But during our low crowd early feb visit park hours are pretty short. We arrive late afternoon friday Feb 1. Epcot EMH Makes that park open til 11 (latest park that night), so we will go there, do some rides that have relatively short lines, and eat and drink. My hubby will need to stop and feed frequently during his waking hours, so the amount of time spent eating is pretty fixed for us, even using counter service.
I have been rather obsessively watching three park line apps several times a day for past three months (Disney experience, Disney magic and the
undercover tourist one). During busy times, like thanksgiving and Xmas week, daytime at EMH parks is notably busier however, early am and late night not as bad. Lately, during the very low crowd times, even on the "red park" days, lines and wait times aren't too bad, so it probably depends on your needs. If you want to ride TSM and the big thrill rides multiple times during afternoon hours, lower crowd parks are prob best bet. But I think for us, riding the big ticket stuff early and then having enough time to eat, wander around, take pic, ride monorail and the other low wait time rides we enjoy at a leisurely pace makes a couple days of EMH worthwhile.
