Hey All DISers planning to attend Mickey's Trick or Treat Party on Thursday, October 15th! I'm going to be there with my DSLR and was wondering if any of y'all wanted to get together for a quick picture?!
Nothing complicated, just meet at a particular place in CA at maybe 7:30pm and snap a few pics. I would post the group pic on the October Group TR and on my TR and also add in a link for a hi-res version for y'all to download and print off
whatcha think?![]()

3 more sleeps until we leave for Disney and 4 more sleeps until we check into PPH!!!
Dh and I have decided to dress up (a little anyhow) with our son. We are going as The Incredibles. Ds will be in full Dash costume while dh and I have made red t-shirts with the Incredibles logo. We will wear back pants and the back eye masks. I know we are not going all out as others do, but this is a huge step for us dressing up at all.![]()
DD and I will be at the Halloween party on Thursday the 15th. We'd love to meet up with other DISers. Let me know where and what time to meet.![]()
only 2 weeks to go....![]()
Only 28 more days! I know it is a long time, but at least now we are in October!
3 weeks from today! Woo Hoo!!!

20 more sleeps until we are road trippin!!
Do you count the night before you leave as one of your "sleeps"? Because, really, will any of us be sleeping that night?
It's slowly getting closer... I serously can't stop thinking about the things i'm gonna be doing over there. <.<
This is for November 1st technically speaking, but since it's part of the larger part of the trip I'll post here anyway.
I call for Fantasmic Priority Seating 8.02 AM. After 8 minutes on hold finally a CM picked up. I told him my request, he looked it up and told me: "Fantasmic is not running that day." Erm... what? The website says differently.
He put me on hold. Listened to yet one more Hannah Montana song.
Our conversation after that went as follows:
"For some reason the day isn't in our computer yet. Can I call you back?"
"I'm calling from overseas. Is that going to be a problem."
"No, that's okay. Could I have your phone number?"
I gave the phone number, and got a promise: "I will call you back in less than an hour."
An hour and ten minutes later: no call.
So I called again and got through after 1.5 Hannah Montana songs.
Shows were in the system, got my booking, all fine and dandy.
But at that point I was really glad that they assign seats at check in only. I would have ended up with way worse seats than I should have thanks to believing the first CM.![]()
Happy October 1st everyone!!! It looks like we should have some great reports coming in, in the next few days regarding the park, crowds, and MTOTP! I can hardly wait to be there Monday! If anyone has reviews of the party, I would love to read them before we go. And don't forget to report back to the group trip report (found in post #2 of this thread)!

A week from today we'll be thinking about fireworks... But for today, we're just trying to get well, b/c all three of us are sick.
That's very cute.We aren't big on dressing up either, but sometimes we try. When DS was 1, we decided to go as the INcredibles, but with DS as Jack-Jack. Specifically, Jack-Jack in the special features short where you see all of his baby-powers like bursting into a fireball. So Robert wore a red shirt with the logo, then I had a black short and white button-up (maternity) shirt over it, and it was partially buttoned over a babysling I'd made out of red satin with the logo on it, as though my owl Elastigirl body was stretching to make the sling. DS was in a red long-sleeved onesie, and I spent most of that day cutting out triangles of yellow, orange, and red felt to sew on the onesie as though it were flames. DS's hair is red, so I didn't need to do anything to his hair.
NO one got it (so few people watch the special features!), but it was fun anyway, and I still think I was clever for making that sling.
And of course nowadays DS would want to be Dash, most definitely!
i think today is jernysgirl's birthday day at the park? best wishes sent!
