omg the count down has begun, I can't believe that in little over 3 weeks we will be seeing the magic come alive in DD (4 yrs old) & DS (2.5 yrs old) eyes. Mickey mouse is DS hero can't go to sleep without his Mickey. Planning on spending Wednesday morning visiting Toon town can't wait to see DS face when he see's Mickey (hopefully he won't be afraid).

Happy to read about this thread on the other thread. I just got back for the opening of the new Villas at the Grand Californian (DVC). I have posted sorta a trip report about the news villas with lots of pics of our room. if interested here is the link:

This trip was to explore the Villas , not a park trip. We are going back on Sunday for the Halloween Time decor.

Are you dressing up? We are going to be Egyptians. Myself, DD12 and DGD1 we should say "hello"! at the TOT party

DH and I finally decided to go as Alice and Mad Hatter, and DS4 will be Pooh And DS3 will be Tigger. The easiest way to spot us is going to be our strollers though. We have two singles and one is BRIGHT blue and the other is BRIGHT lime (DIS) green!

We are also going with my Mom, Dad, (both in Halloween tees), niece (most likely a punk rock angel) and nephew (either Christopher Robin or a chef).

If you see us, definitely say hello!

Update - we're adding a day and a ToT party. We are now Oct. 12 - 17 HoJo Kids Suite, ToT on the 15th. Those deals for GCH are tough to pass up, but we are looking forward to the kids having their own room.

mwrogers... i understand what you are saying. i just got through with back to back weekend stays at the Grand.. and honestly.. i liked the beds and bedding better at the Holiday Inn on South Walnut.

Thanks for sharing funatdisney.. one of my best friends just went and stayed at the Villas on opening night. She said the view was really great.
