15 days and getting nervous about the weather. Not happy about Tropical Storm Karen. I know she isn't supposed to really effect Florida at all but I don't want any other storms popping up either!

I saw this too! We were stuck in Mexico on our Honeymoon for 16 days during Hurricane Wilma. Hoping we're protected at Disney in the magical Disney bubble!

Shouldn't be a problem for us except for those driving. You may get caught in some of it on the way down. Its supposed to pass through Atlanta.

Hi everyone! It's just DH and I for this trip. While we are in Florida from the 18th, we do not check into WDW until the 24th. We are staying AKV Jambo from 24-27.
10/24 EPCOT F&W all day
10/25 AK morning / MK for MNSSHP in evening (dinner Liberty Tree)
10/26 HS morning / lunch Sanaa / EPCOT late afternoon early
evening/ MK for late dinner at BOG
10/27 b'fast at Kona then MK in morning then flight home

Anyone at MNSSHP on the 24th? I will be dressed as Belle in the blue dress - DH is wearing a BEAST tee shirt. Say hi if you see me!

We'll (most likely) be at MNSSHP on 10/24. Depends in the forecast, but it's our preferred party date. There's actually a bunch of us on the MNSSHP thread for that date too! Check it out! Might be a busy party night with local schools out! :S

We don't visit that week, but according to the crowd calendars... that Saturday is busy, but otherwise normal mid-level crowds. MK looks busy on the 24th.

Hi all, I'm new to the board and this will be our first trip, Celebrating our daughter's 6th birthday!

10-12 through 10-19, staying at AoA in a little mermaid room.

We got the DDP, and look forward to the food and wine fest, too.

Funny thing is, we have a pseudo-doppleganger! There is another family, same last name, also from NJ, with similar reservations for both bibbidy-bobbidy-botique and CRT on the same day! Needless to say, this has caused some confusion when making some followup calls about reservations.

I do hope we manage to bump into them some how. Reservation times are different, but you never know!

Too funny! We're not them, but we are going to be at WDW for similar dates - 10/10-10/19 at AKV with our DD4. Hope you guys have a wonderful vacation, and that your daughter has a birthday full of magical moments!

debbidowright & DH will be in the house of mouse starting October 27th! First Food and Wine Fest - so excited! We received Magic Bands last week - totally surprised to be able to get them. Now I have to find out how to use them or activate them. Any ideas on crowd levels?

Last year MNSSHP sold out 3 days in advance for the similar date as the 24th, so I have been anticipating the same, and considering 10/22 party instead as a potential back-up (since Orange County schools are in session M-W that week). I would think Epcot will be busy with F&W on the weekend too, otherwise hoping the crowds might disperse. Also keeping in mind that not EVERY local will be at WDW, some will probably head elsewhere or nowhere at all.

Oh, and originally I picked this week in October for our trip because of the low predicted crowds, LOL, we'll see (fingers crossed).

MNSSHP on the 29th
Not big into TS, takes to much of our time, DD's and myself get antsy after 30minutes
Bands have arrived and FP+ is set. Majority of our schedule falls on low crowd level days
